Yeah both are basically my PS4 Monster Hunter. I really wish that series would evolve a bit more. They have been pumping out the same game for years it feels like. Pretty much all of the assets since the PS2 original have been recycled while each new game feels more like an expansion than a new game.

Yeah I can attest to his troll status. He's trying to put it forth subjectively here though so I can appreciate that. You can tell that DarkOcelet has the better online etiquette with the bubble difference alone...even with all of his unwarranted disagrees.

Not sure if I agree. Online multiplayer is going to be amazing this year between Bloodborne and Uncharted alone. And who knows what else will be a hit at this point.

Nintendo definitely gets the local multiplayer prize for this gen so far though.

And just as many new ones will likely pop up in a few months. Reason enough to be excited. I hope the delays just affect games like The Division or something. Ubisoft need their polish time anyway.

I think The Witness and PS4 Journey didn't get mentioned. Anyone who didn't have a PS3 should get Journey when it comes. It was Probably my favourite downloadable title of the generation.

Really just an amazing year for gaming. Uncharted on PS4, Halo 5 on X1, and Zelda on Wii U. Those are pretty much the biggest franchises for each system (unless you prefer a Mario adventure game, but those haven't happened since Galaxy 2). That and there are some other phenomenal titles on the side (Bloodborne, Persona, and Xenoblade to name a few). Here's hoping we get a Bethesda game this year too.

I might have to agree with your subjective opinion there.

I am very interested to see if all of these awesome games can reinvigorate JRPGs. We have Xenoblade, FFXV, KH3, FF Type-0, Persona 5, and Disgaea 5 all coming in the next two years probably (although KH3 might not even come out until 2017). About time after last gen we didn't get any new Personas or KH and the only FF was the garbage XIII series. I've been living off of Bethesda RPGs tbh.

I just took the plunge and it was worth it. Super Mario 3D World and Smash are amazing as expected and if you liked Wind Waker the remaster is incredibly polished and is absolutely beautiful. Plus the game is even better on the game pad since you can swap items on the fly with the touch screen and you can have your map up at all times for dungeon and sea navigation. You can also aim things like the bow with the gyroscope if you want and it works well. It has been a great investment suffice to...

YES! Now I'm just left wondering when Fat Princess Adventures and Journey PS4 come out. I hope Tricky Pixels did something special with that port because it's taking them forever.

Edit: Holy the amount of entitlement on the PS Blog is unreal. People are complaining that they are having to pay for the same game again when it clearly offers new modes, better visuals, and 5 new planets (the original only had 5 planets so this is really like the old game remastered plus ...

About as obvious as the DMC and BL remasters. I'm still waiting for both KH collections to get combined on PS4.

I like both, but as a huge fan of the likes of Wind Waker, DC2 (<--- obviously), Journey, and Okami, there's just something about a well-done cartoonish art direction. It's probably because they can pull off more with less processing power and it is far easier to hide graphical blemishes. I think these kinds of games sometimes have the potential to be even more beautiful than the photorealistic games though.

Graphically not that impressive(compared to the likes of FFXV)...but these games have depth and just as much longevity as DA. I would go as far as to say that this will probably be more fun though. Can't wait to find out. Definitely a reason to consider the Wii U as a second console if you're an RPG fan. That and what RPG fan doesn't also love Zelda despite the genre difference?

It's a pretty sweet Tower Defense game with RPG elements. Another good one to check out is Pixeljunk Monsters. Oh wait...

Yeah they would have to have some kind of limitations on the streaming for sure since someone could just build their library for cheaper on PC (making the X1 a pointless middleman). It just seems goofy to stream a game from your PC to the X1 though when you can just plug the controller into the PC and the PC via HDMI and play that way. Online games especially would be horrible because of the extra latency from streaming.

Yeah I'm super excited. The first one was great. I just hope they make it a bit less grindy. The equipment always seemed way too expensive and if you progressed two or three levels too quickly you would usually have to go back and repeat levels because you would get destroyed on the new ones.

I'm still laughing at how PS3's constant firmware updates were frowned upon last gen despite all the features they gave and now it's apparently a pro for the X1 while Sony stopped rolling out frequent updates because of all the alleged complaints. I was never complaining though... I swear it was just the Xbox fanboys. Turning tables are real.

The MC looks evil at some parts. Makes me wonder if they're building on the multiple endings from P4 and adding in a legit karma system...or maybe he just looks antagonistic because he's in the process of bringing down an oppressive and corrupt government. Emancipate yourself? Maybe?

Edit: Or playing some kind of Robin Hood role to redistribute the wealth? The trailer totally reminded me of Sly Cooper lol. Oh and there's a cat burglar!

I skipped DS2 so this is a buy for me. You're right though... Between a new game and a remaster at the $70 price-point, I would take Bloodborne any day of the week. This is more like something I'll get 6 months from now when its $30 to 40. Just bought a Wii U and some games. Can't be throwing around money like a scotch connoisseur at a strip club.

That's some brass taxes right there.

Flame_of_Udun makes a valid point, but generalizing the crowd as disgusting might be going overboard. I would probably go for the word unintelligible or naive? 5 dollars cannot somehow equate to $15. Same logic applied to the Playstation Now complaints. That isn't to say Spotify and Playstation Now shouldn't be lowered from their respective price points of $120 and $180 a year.
