Man that's so many games to pick up full price for how much time there is in a day. I picked up FC4, LBP3, and GW3, but I'll look into GTA5 and DA:O early next year for sure. Shadow of Mordor hinged on the repetition of AC and non-stop orc fighting and the novelty of the nemesis system lasts only a few hours, so I couldn't see myself getting that despite being a huge Tolkien fan.
I had these issues for the first week but don't get them at all now. My friend playing on the X1 though gets them every time he tries to play so he basically quit the game.
This looks pretty awesome actually. It's a shame PS Plus has already buried me beneath an insurmountable backlog.
Classic gamingbolt...always aiming to troll.
At least their air fresheners don't require proprietary scents and don't work on a pay to sniff model!
As a PS fan I agree with you. The multiplat discrepancies are only a big deal if all you play are multiplats and even then are minor differences. The true differences will be notable when Uncharted 4 releases. Even Uncharted 3 and TLoU graphically exceed 90% of what we've seen this gen. I guess in the scenario you've given Uncharted 4 would be my dad and Halo 5 would be yours. Weird.
Calling it now. Halo has better MP and Uncharted has better single player and graphic...
Yeah, I probably wouldn't reprise my role either.
But imagine if it was one of Kojima's many machinations. Just like when Austin Powers 3 opens up with Tom Cruise. I was actually profoundly upset until I realized Mike Myers trolled me.
He's supposed to sound messed up and decrepit...thus the name Old Snake lol. I enjoyed thoroughly in MGS4. It sounded like he was going to drop dead mid-line half the time. The sense of desperation and futility just adds to the overall tone of the game.
Littlebigplanet console for me but I know a few who would go for FIFA.
I think there are some indies that surpass the majority of AAA games we see though. Not enough risks are taken, especially with EA, Activision, and Ubisoft saturating the market with the annual and bi-annual releases of all of these well-established franchises. I've been sick of COD, BF, AC, etc. since halfway through last gen. I'm just wondering when the masses will realize and then sales will dec...
Me neither. I'm still trying to decipher what happened at the end of MGS2. That game set a gold standard for subsequent plot twists.
OT: I'm leaning towards a big Morpheus project but who knows. So much built up hype for the following week.
Maybe The Witness changed graphics engines. lol jk but seriously where is that game? It's probably going to be phenomenal.
@ramiuk1:
Eh, not really. Last gen my favourite indie titles on 360 were Limbo, Geo. Wars 2, Braid, Castle Crashers, and Fez. All of these came to Playstation eventually with the exception of GW2 (though we now have GW3 multiplat). I can't say the same about indie titles like Flower, Journey, Unfinished Swan, Super Stardust HD, Fat Princess, Pixel Junk Monsters, and Dead Nation...all of which remain exclusive to PS, and I would argue that Journey is the best indie title I have pla...
Not in Canada :(. Now I understand why amazon.ca is inferior lol.
There are also usually ridiculous Christmas sales. That's when I got Killzone Mercenary for $9, GoW: Ascension for $19, and MGS HD for Vita for $11 all recently after being released. I believe Ni No Kuni and Blood Dragon were also dirt cheap but I can't remember if it was the same sale.
Also in the market for Diablo 3, but I can probably wait a few months for the hard copy to drop to $30 or less. I would go for it if it was "spend $50, get $10" like it used to be because I've already dropped $15.
Different development teams. The Far Cry team has been amazing since the third iteration and that series hasn't also suffered the fatigue of the annual milking. Ubisoft doesn't have much to do with this games problems, although the project was clearly too ambitious for the team and it should have been delayed until early 2015.
I'm starting to think it won't happen this year after how heavily it got exploited last year (people buying 3 to 5 years worth). I kind of wish it did though since I didn't take advantage of it either.
I understand where you are coming from, but I tend to focus my support on the developers who aren't breaking sales records. Like I bought LBP3 at launch to support Sumo Digital (and Tarsier to an extent) because those devs deserve more attention and that was a big project for them. I also support certain JRPG franchises like Disgaea and Persona so that we can see more Western releases in the future. With Rockstar, my money feels more like a drop in an ocean, so I don't feel as compell...
The same people who have their homepage stuck as MSN news probably.
