I was able to get Music Unlimited for $50ish for a year and I recently got Spotify and it's essentially $120 a year (they offer no deals on bulk subscriptions for some reason). Pretty crappy but I guess that's just Canada. In the US you can apparently get a student discount that brings the price down to around the same as Music Unlimited. That's probably the only time it would be worth it for me.

Yeah this is great.Definitely an upgrade from Music Unlimited; however, I hope they don't view this collaboration as an excuse to slack on adding more media capabilities to the system. Seeing at least local MP3 and video support would be nice.

It's really weird turning on my PS3 and it barely feels last gen considering how many more features it boasts over the X1 and PS4 still. That's your current best bet for a media center tbh.

Kind of becoming the norm (as seen with FC4, Infamous, TR). Probably has to do with a single-layered BR holding 23GB after formatting.

I found this interesting. Apparently half of our hard drive space is being wiped because of language support. I feel like this is something that could be easily re...

Nicely said. No implied sense of objectivity used whatsoever. I can appreciate that.

Nothing like the FFX sparkle deaths. It felt so gratifying to beat any enemy in that game lol. I wish we got to kill Flynn in U2. What kind of selfish bastard grenades himself anyway?

Will probably play. Celceta was a really generic experience, but at least I can say it was pretty well polished.

Then there was the MC from the original Ghost Recon. No just joking, but yeah if they can't make good ones I guess it's better that they don't try to. We all saw what happened with FFXIII. The phrase cringe-worthy just got overused there.

I think it's just because he talks for so long at the beginning and end. When you think about it... you run into Vaas like four times after the start of the game, but with Pagan, you start the game and then don't see him until the end. There's no sense of bonding or character development. It's more like they show you him, throw you into his world, and then you see him after undergoing some severe changes and find it hard to distinguish between him and yourself. I think this wa...

Right up there with Infamous for me. Have yet to play Dragon Age, but I watched my friend play and I don't know if I can really spare 100+ hours on grinding, MMOish fetch quests, and relentless dialogue trees. Would much rather play Persona or Disgaea 5 or wait to see what this Witcher games all about.

It's true. I never cared about a single Farcry or Assassin's Creed protagonist at all. Then again, I feel like most developers just go for a blank canvas approach to make the character into some sort of dull everyman that might be easily related to. On the other hand, these characters lack soul to the point where I am never really emotionally invested. Man... I might be done playing anything from Ubisoft and Activision. EA has Bioware and I have yet to play a Mass Effect game so I can...

Reasons to bother even if the difference is negligible:
1. Compatibility with Windows 10...perhaps for easierr cross-play as well as for apps and the new/updated OS they are sure to implement (definitely needed).
2. To make things easier/less time consuming on the developer's end.

These alone are some solid reasons to get DX12 on X1. I'm also sure the amount of development time required for DX12 on PC vastly surpasses the time it would take to get it o...

I don't think they will raise it again. Maybe just unbundle the games/controllers/gift cards/hot plates. If it went back to 400 MS would have less momentum than they had before November. That and everyone knows the system shouldn't be priced the same as the PS4. Significantly better GPU and ram have to have some value. We also live in an age where people pay more for sleeker and more condensed electronics so there's that approach as well though it usually isn't applicable to c...

The reviews this gen have been horribly inconsistent anyways. Some of the better games I've played in the last year or so get 6s and 7s while CoD and AC are still squeezing out 8s and 9s somehow. Wouldn't mind if we went back into a demo age because even my favourite review sites have been terrible at giving consistent scores.

Yeah this games getting no hype at all. If it actually turns out to be a good game it will end up being a sleeper hit and I bet a lot of reviewers would still downplay it so that they don't have to go back on their predetermined opinions.

Yeah this is almost bullying. Seems more like a bitter and childish revenge move. Perhaps Sony or RAD didn't make this guy feel entitled enough...not being able to save the video of his gameplay.

Nemesis system doesn't have nearly as much depth as it leads you to believe in the first hour or so though. I'd be more impressed if we saw No Man's Sky's scope in other games. Also...Bethesda could surprise us this year, but it could just be a prettier Fallout. We also haven't seen an actual set-piece moment from Uncharted yet either and that could be a gaming milestone in itself (considering what we experienced in U2 and 3).

It might not be Eurogamer as a whole but maybe just this bitter troll of a journalist. He honestly starts by tearing apart Heavy Rain. What a chode.

Edit: As a side note, I don't have incredibly high expectations for this game but none of my reasons are in this guy's video. My main concern is the game's story and overall longevity/replayability (heard it doesn't have multiplayer..?).

All of the PSone FFs were already available for cheap on the PS3/PSP/Vita. I remember getting all of them for like 6 bucks and I also got Tactics: War of the Lions for free. PS4 FF7? Meh. I'll wait for the inevitable emulation plans. There's no way they'll make us pay again for the games we already paid for again.

LBP Vita, Tearaway, Uncharted, Killzone, Soul Sacrifice, Gravity Rush, P4G, Ys, Freedom Wars, Disgaea 3/4, and Wipeout. All great exclusives. That's without getting into my extensive list of ps1 classics, psp games, and games/remasters that are also available on PS3 (who doesn't want games like FFX, MGS2/3, Pixel Junk Monsters, Guacamelee, and Fez on the go?). It's true there hasn't been a groundbreaking amount of exclusives, but it's only three years old and freebies on p...
