I think it would have been if they had more market share.
It says play it first on ps4 so my guess is a year timed. Maybe less knowing Square's multiplats tendencies.
Uncharted is the kind of game you play maybe three times through or more. TR is one and done. Hit it and quit it.
Everything is adjusted for inflation though including wages and technology. Technically we should be paying $90 and be getting the game with some extra content but no one would find that reasonable. I don't think it's greed. Games cost more to make now and even more to market. Consumers will never compromise though because we are stuck in our mentality. Chocolate bars used to cost 5 cents and now they are 2 dollars at many places. Thats a 400% increase. Gas prices hiked up to almost d...
Hello. I'm 12.
I remember my first comment.
OT: Its too bad DLC has become necessary but $80 games would seem pretty brutal. Already seeing it in Canada and I never bite at that price tag.
People typically react this way, but I understand. My complaints about gaming relate more to difficulty decreasing and an increase in commercialism killing creative prospects though. Sometimes I get gaming fatigue and will just give it up for a few years at a time. When I come back though, I'm having more fun and I'm more addicted than ever. I could never give it up for good.
Boom. Maybe I can beat the system and get it used on eBay... Oh wait they purposely limit production so that you either pay full price new (or three years old) or buy it used for 120% of the release price. Probably my biggest pet peeve with Nintendo. They are great at keeping up the friendly, passionate anachronistic gaming company facade though.
Or Sony doesn't want it competing with PS Now by having two subscription services. That and this might help bolster the PS+ prospects from EA. Instead of EA just putting the freebies on access and getting the subscription fee in its entirety. Business stuff.
Yeah I have no interest in the service, but I'm sure there are many out there who would love it. It's too bad because options are always nice. PS4 still has the superior free games service and although it's steeply priced there is PS Now which does hold alot of potential once it branches beyond PS3 games. So its not like the system is anything to mock when it comes to players getting a combination of value and innovation. I'd say #fortheplayers still holds true.
I've heard this Disney Infinity stuff wrecks your wallet if you get really into it. I know someone that spent hundreds of dollars on it. Doesn't sound worth buying ever if it relies so heavily on extras to get the complete experience.
Apparently the remaster was worthy as well. It did well critically and seemed to improve on the game moreso than alot of the cash grab remasters out there. It is sad that they didn't remaster both dark souls games though.
Double Dash, Melee, Sunshine, and Luigi's Mansion would be some cool VC additions. Already have Wind Waker HD.
Except they skimped on the programming and you can't just play any of these games out of the box since you need a specific Wii controller and none of the Wii U ones work. Small nitpick I guess but Nintendo has never been that great about accessory prices. Surprisingly now you can get Wii Fit U with the board and meter for 30 dollars on their official store. Crazy value when Rock Band 4 is going to be a few hundred.
It doesn't help that their biggest developer in terms of popularity (Square) has been doing terrible for about a decade. That and Monster Hunter has become almost exclusively a handheld title now and even made its way to mobiles. I could see at least the former problem being resolved in the next two years.
Hopefully the recently announced JRPG titles will boost the PS4 into another golden age. If not, at least it's had overwhelming success elsewhere. The kind of success that the PS3 really deserved in its last few years before the 4 launched.
I think that is the problem right now. This will all change though when those DQ titles release. And no, I don't mean Dairy Queen.
As a story TLoU would obviously win. As a game I think Uncharted 2 is the best thing they've made so far.
It's an ugly game. I'm surprised everything doesn't run it at 60fps including the toaster that I don't own.
0.76 now I think. We're on the incline now!
Just checked and 0.77. Apparently it's good for the economy in some ways but I would like it up back around 0.90 because I've been noticing mostly negative effects like $80 games.
It will be possible this generation but I'm not going to expect it for another three years. FFXV looks beautiful but it's obviously not quite there yet. What comes after should be able to hit this level of visual fidelity though, assuming there isn't a huge emphasis on the open world which there might be. I'm excited for Sucker Punch's next game too. Second Son did so many things right graphically.
