I find myself more immersed in third-person perspectives, because I have a sense of my body in the virtual space... whereas in first-person I feel my viewing angle is so limited and I feel more disoriented. I used to play CS 1.3+, and the worlds were simple enough that it worked. But as the environments get more intricate, I've often found myself not being able to move forward because i'm running into a bin or something, and I have to move the camera all the way down like an idiot bec...

Ah I see, makes sense then! Hehe.

The game looks surprisingly good, and i'm quite a fan of all the things going on. I figure after enough playtime, all the things going on will just add to the sense of chaos without hampering the gameplay. Will be great I hope!

I don't own a vita, and my PS3 is back home (I moved to the UK)... But my goodness, having LBP on-the-go makes me want to get a vita. If I ever have the money and it doesn't go to food & rent, ooooh i'll be tempted to get a vita just for LBP. I love LBP. Rofl.

Not sure if the author of xtremeps3 checks this, but if you do:

The bottom label with the 'www.xtremeps3.com' is very intrusive and practically ruins the video. Not sure how you didn't see that. Just remove the white background, perhaps make the 'type' white and with some opacity so it's slightly see-through?

I absolutely loved Starhawk. If I still had my PS3 (I moved to the UK, couldn't take it with me), I'd be playing the sh*t out of it right now.

I remember playing the beta and thinking, 'my goodness, they've changed everything, this is potentially going to be a massive hit'. I wish they had sold more... because I thought it was freakin' brilliant.

Man... I played the starhawk beta like a madman, it was a brilliant experience. Unfortunately I moved and don't have my PS3 anymore otherwise i'd be playing the sh*t out of that game. I never played the single player, and perhaps it was a mistake, but the multiplayer was amazing.

Wish it had done better in sales.

Legitimate question, but with a hint of 'lol'.

I was just going over the e3 presentation and some multiplayer demos the other day, getting hyped up. The Santa Monica team is freakin' gifted. So i'm only too glad to hear there's news poppin up today.

...but what could it be?

Actually, though i've never played Kinect, that sounds pretty awesome. I'd like to see it in action cause I could see it working quite well in that circumstance, and making you feel quite powerful.

I do game on a PS3, and used to game on a PC. I don't have an Xbox, and for that matter haven't had a PS3 in half a year due to the fact that i've moved, but I see Kinect as having a positive side. Not usually my cup of tea, but hey, if someone gets enjoyment ou...

Ahh. I had a good laugh waking up. Consider the '4' myth debunked today.

Nicely written comment. Well thought out.

I think the emphasis on this 'console race' is rather silly. Each business has a different sort of business model. Yeah, they're all competing with one another, but there's no reason why they can't all do well.

Sony released the PS3 at a later date, and has a model to support the console until 2015. It has been selling very well, and sales keep increasing. They've got their prospects, and make ...

Scofio's post did make me laugh. It's rather true!

@FatOldMan, spot on. The only reason they raise above most articles is because it's troll material, and it gets people fired up. The comments are mostly people (apparently like myself) commenting on this article to express discontent, or to call the author a troll, or to negate the importance of the website, etc. etc.

A grand majority of the websites that publish these articles really aren't w...

I think you're all taking a position of either or...

Realistically, it looks as though cloud gaming will become an option, and I can see it being an option that will draw in the casual market - which the past decade has shown is a big market.

I don't see why it 'threatens' the livelihood of core gaming. The way I see it, if you want to be in any way competitive online, at this time you need a dedicated machine. So whether it's console or P...

I agree... I'm hoping they look at other methods to bring it to your attention. But it'd be nice to have a mode where it doesn't pop up.

Dang. Didn't notice they mentioned a multiplayer component at E3.

I trust they'll do somethin interesting, and as he said it'll be built with thought and from the groundup. I hope it's something like a survival type thang between gangs.

Oh, here, let me call it... a 3v3v3 mode (a la UC3) with separate gangs trying to survive the onslaught of mushroom creatures.

Don't know, but I hope it's more based off some story driv...

Man, that was seriously impressive.

I miss LBP... i've moved and no longer have a TV nor PS3 :(

Couldn't imagine what other stuff has been created since the last time I played. I've always found that time was LBP's best friend. Every 2 months, a crazier level is made. The game has never ceased to amaze me.

In many ways, my favorite game of all time.

I love the integration to online, and how the city will be integrated to a wider causal network.

But I do NOT Understand making an Internet connection mandatory. That is absolute bollocks. Lots of people are pirating this game, and I understand why. On such an integral feature, the alternative provides the 'customer' with a better user experience. It's as simple as that.
