hahahahahaha!
nice
I feel like GG has already said that they've fixed the recoil issue, as well as the basic 'wallhack' for the tactician, as well as the power differences in weapons. This was just a beta afterall.
Can't wait.
I do well in MAG with the Move. For me it's more like a mouse which has greater precision. However, I don't like that yellow cursor that i've seen in the KZ3 videos... I hope they give the option to stick with the default cursor (I mean crosshair)
Hm I don't know. It took me a few hours to get used to Move on MAG. But I started enjoying the way it's set up. Having the gun move around on the screen and having that deadzone seemed to work well. I originally thought it would be like a mouse (and would like to try it that way), but I definitely got used to using the deadzone and enjoyed it.
I wonder, i'm sure the developers must have tested both ways and come out thinking deadzone was more practical. Either way...
@dead, it seems to boil down to two different types of people. The ones who will perpetuate the system (blindly or not), and those who take responsibility in their own hands and act based on their good judgement.
I'm not blaming anyone for liking COD, it's built on a good engine (though somehow with each new iteration it seems to keep on delivering a buggy mess). Overall, it's a fun experience. I wouldn't say it's worth 60$, but someone else might.

Oh. Ya. Jimmy Fallon seems funny on occasion, but that was a bad joke. Not even tasteless, just seemed out of place and lame.
@soundslike below: dig the Van Gogh avatar. I sympathize with what you say, but I do think it was pointless and unfunny. It's not grounds for a battle of any kind, but if I met someone and he told me that in the first 5 minutes, i'd think "hm, that was a dick thing to say", and then carry on with the conversation. Not a deal breaker i...
Ya i'm excited to see more variety in the animations. What I saw was genius. I'm surprised what they've been able to accomplish in 1 year, though I imagine these are things that have been in the works and couldn't make it in Uncharted 2, so they just had a lot of things to refine.
I want to see some HD footage of this demo sooo bad so I can inspect! There was something about those two bad guys at the top of the stairs which seemed so real, like they occupied s...
Holy shit. That looks f***ing unreal. Everything looks very polished and improved. Physics, animations, particle effects, lighting, detail, all up'd so much. Omg. Naughty Dog devs are doing some amazing things.
I'm actually playing through the hardest mode in Uncharted 2 again, out of excitement for the UC3 announcement. Well, i'm really just continuing from the last time I played. Last night I played through the part where Drake and the mongolian dude are saving the little town, and you're getting chased by a tank. Then after there's the car chase where you're jumping from car to car. Then there's crazy climbing and shooting, and just plain craziness.
UC2 re...
Buh. I don't care much to even argue this point. But MAG is also patched with Move. And Sony isn't just advertising it to the casual demographic; one look at their "buttons are important" marketing ploy signals that they are interested in differentiating themselves from Kinect in that a button configuration scheme CAN allow for hardcore games. MAG is proof that it works more than adequately, as well as Resident Evil 5, and I'm also anticipating KZ3 and LBP2 to rock with ...
I didn't actually watch the VGAs. But I did watch the trailers afterwards. That Geoff fellow really overhyped the UC3 trailer. Not that it was bad in any way; it was scrumptious and beautiful. But he made it seem like we would see a lot of gameplay tbh. My jaw never hits the floor unless it's unbelievable gameplay.
Omg. @Dead_Pixel. Thanks for the video it's absolutely hilarious. It's the guy's expression that makes it.
Yeah it's pretty stupid this sort of thing gets approved. Still stoked for UC3 though :D
Anyone know of a livestream happening?
I know right. I don't know why some users here on N4G are saying that Move support would somehow ruin the entirety of the experience. Or that it would take away from the story, or from already existing DS3 controls, or graphics. It has nothing to do with any of these. Simple patch, most of the hardware does the work, all the devs have to do is calibrate it well and figure out a control scheme. Sure it's a bit of work, but it sure as hell won't take anything away from any aspects o...
Hm. I think DS3 users have had a fair bit of practice (as I have). Move may or may not have the advantage in the end, it will really depend on people's preferences. Only time will tell really. IMO I am very glad Move players will be paired with DS3 players - it would really suck otherwise. Move does have a learning curve (it took me about 6 hours on MAG to get used to it, then an additional 2 hours to get good). But it really is a preference thing. I find it more intense, but more tiring ...
Man what the hell's the matter with you guys. Applying Move as an optional control scheme isn't going to change the game, certainly not make it worse. And for a bunch of you idiots saying the Move is strictly for casual users, try going back to PC days when a mouse and keyboard was really hardcore and a console controller was for kiddies. CS Half-life anyone?
Now, i'm a console gamer, but Move strikes me as being a VERY viable alternative control scheme. Reminds m...
Man this is pretty crazy to wake up to. Do we love this a bit too much? Surely not...
It's not an in-game screen, it's concept art. It's fairly obvious.
Good Video Preview. Successfully got me stoked for LBP2, as if I needed more incentive.
My God, IGN has a lot of ads. I've never seen so many invasive ads on a site before. Moreso than streaming websites. I mean, for every video I watch it makes me watch a video ad. It's really pathetic, and just so invasive that I never go to IGN for that reason.
Their reviews are also like giant ads for the game. I always found it terribly obvious that the way they...
I bought MAG a week ago. I also just got the Move before that so I needed a deeper experience other than sports champions. MAG has become one of my favorite FPS games, especially with the Move. I prefer it, from a veteran Counter-Strike (CS 1.4-1.6) player, it's like using a mouse. Greater precision and flexibility, and it really immerses you in the experience. Feels like you're holding a gun.
Anyway, MAG itself is awesome, people actually work together and the missio...
nice..
