you have heard of that, haven't you?
I'm going to have to say that my NES, hell even my Commadore 64, could produce better graphics/physics/gameplay than this pile of rubbish. On the other hand, if this game is coming to the 360, then it's not too bad=has potential and when it does port over to the 360, it will look 1000000 times better, guaranteed.
what do you do for a living? The reason I ask is that I see that you log on here quite a bit and seem to invest alot of time on this site. I was curious as to how you can afford the luxury of spending so much time arguing mute points with the Sony fanboys. Are you a student? Maybe a school teacher on summer break? Don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to attack your way of life, just trying to get a little backround information about the most adamant Xbox fanboy on this site.
I think this poll only reflects the sentiments of the Japanese people and their reaction to the steep price of the PS3. I think that after a couple of major RPGs hit the PS3, you will see a change of heart amongst the Japanese consumers. Have they ever been able to resist the call of FF or DQ? I don't think so.
Don't have the patience or the intelligence? If you don't already, you should keep a box of tissues nearby, so that you don't have to keep on running to your mother to cry in her arms.
Scholorships to any school in Florida? Good for you. Too bad there aren't that many good schools down there. And working to pay for college was for the experience, not because my parents couldn't afford it. They liked the idea of instilling a good work ethic in their children, something I hope to do with my own children. And in my humble opinion, my analogy is spot on. Just because you are a mega-Xbox fan and can't comprehend another's opinion, doesn't make the analogy any less valid. You cou...
First of all, "get a job hippie" was a joke.
Secondly, "I didnt say the ps3 was expensive I said paying 600 dollars for a console is dumb ass hell" is the same thing. It's all relative. I'd liken it to comparing three Porsches. The Wii is like a Boxter. Fun to drive, convertable, and affordable (50k). The 360 is like a Cayman S. A blast to drive, track-ready, and very close to the 911 turbo at about half of the price (70k). Then you have the PS3 which is like a 911 ...
I mean a real job. One that can get you out of your parent's basement. One that would make you think "hmmm...$600 for a PS3....that's not too bad, that's just a week's worth of work"
Get a job hippie!
he's not exactly the model spokesman. I mean, he goes from saying “Sony could probably have completely had me if there was lovely, sweet HD footage of a new Wipeout for PS3 at E3 – I’ve made sweet, animal love to each iteration of that series over a succession of Sony consoles..." to "They seem absolutely certain that even when they say that it's going to be considerably more expensive than existing consoles, and that maybe there won't be that many titles actually available at laun...
what was the article about again? Oh yeah, the camera thing. And btw, I think that you guys/ladies need to drop the "who's selling better" discussion. It really is going nowhere. The Sony camp is just stating the actual sales figures (and how the PS2 is outselling the 360) while the MS camp is trying to extrapolate some theory about how it isn't indicative of the 360's popularity. And guess what? You're both right and both wrong. There. Settled. End of discussion. Now everyone, go o...
Have you guys ever looked at a Samsung LCD flat-panel playing next to a Sony/Panasonic/Sharp LCD flat-panel? If you have, you would know that Samsung is not the leader in quality electronics and that most Japanese manufacturers would run all over them. I'm not saying that they are bad, I'm just saying that I'm not suprised that the Toshiba player (even with it's initial problems and all) is an overall better quality player. And don't try to tell me that the issue isn't with the player but rat...
or to be more specific, put your parent's money where your mouth's at. I don't wanna make a wager with someone that can't financially afford to lose $1000, though it may be me that may lose the bet....and it should be someone that is at the legal betting age (18).
You should have just left well alone instead of trying so hard to defend yourself (all the while making yourself come off as a complete a$$).
"The world is flat"
"No it isn't, it's a fact that it's round"
"I mean the world is relatively flat....you know, the land mass that I live on"
"Actually no, that land mass that you refer to is actually curved and a small portion of the ROUND earth"
"Well I don't care about ...
I agree. Everyone has a right to post their opinions on these forums. The only complaint I have is that I don't really care to read the same argument over and over again. If it was stated once or twice, fine, point taken. I understand that there are rebutals and therefore a response is justified but I see the same people on the same side go back and forth (if you can call it that) commenting about the same issue and opinions over and over again. And before you jump on me and tell me not to re...
I know this story comes a little late (and possibly off-topic) but....earlier today I went to a Best Buy and was walking through the home appliance section of the store when I happened upon a gorgeous GE range/oven. I was literally captivated by the stainless steel finish and fit of the exterior, so I decided to explore further. But to my suprise, when I opened the oven, a raccoon popped out. I was like "what the hell!", but little did I know that it would even get wierder. The racc...
You got served!!! (though in such a geeky atmosphere, I'm not sure if it is entirely a bad thing....)
Everybody here knows that Blu-ray was on sale in Japan in 2003, right? And if I'm not mistaken, Sony was the first to market a player...so I don't think the delay has anything to do with technical problems (unless the U.S. government got drift of a brainwashing device hidden in Sony's Blu-ray player that would make all viewers hardcore Sony fans and Sony is now scrambling to get those devices out....) But seriously, I think most of you guys have nailed it on the head. I think Sony wanted to r...
Maybe they are just smarter with their money and only buy used games....ever think about that?
Really, who cares if this goes to the 360/PC? Even if it does port to the 360/PC, there is no guarantee that Ubisoft will put in the effort to make full use of the 360/PC's strength (if there is such a thing). Not all ports translate as well on other consoles as it did with the original system it was created for. Hell, GTA should've looked a hell of alot better on the more superior Xbox, but we all know how that turned out...
