As sad as I am to say this, I'm okay with Shadow of the Eternals dying before it really happened. Aside from all the ickiness that is Denis Dyack's career as of late, the problems with Silicon Knights, the could-have-been-great-but-wasn 't disaster that was Too Human, and the crippling lawsuit that Denis's company lost against Epic Games, Shadows of the Eternal just didn't appeal in the same way as Eternal Darkness did.

Which is sad since Darkness was one ...

It is one of the best and most polished Early Access games I've played, but there is a very real possibility of early burnout while the game is unfinished, while you wait for the final game to come out. I played it quite a bit (20 or so hours) in its first few versions, but am now waiting until it's done so I can experience the complete edition. I feel confident that I can recommend the game once it's done.

All the interesting possibilities Knight brought out could be really cool, but I'm all for ending franchises and bringing new blood in rather than making more and more and more until the game is in an uninspired zombie-like state of annual release like some franchises.

*AHEM* Assasin's Call: Duty of the Creed.

Surprisingly, Battlefront does.

We live in a time where Halo won't have splitscreen and "Battlefield: Star Wars" will.

Excuse me, gotta search Lycos to find the best route to the Sega factory on my Segway, cause it's Opposite Day!

I actually bought the keyboard/mouse combo a few years ago. It was terrible. Although it looked slick as anything and shifted into different positions like a transformer, the mouse pad was slippery, making the mouse fall off the pad pretty easily, but most crippling was its laughable 3-4ft range. I actually had to prop the (included) receiver on a box into the middle of the living room was proof that this product was bust. I returned it and bought a lapdesk and logitech mouse/keyboard combo -...

That angle doesn't make any sense since they have tons of cyberpunk games on GOG, many of which are recent cyberpunk indie games:

Cyberpunk 2077 won't be out for a couple years, and by that time Dex will be pretty much forgotten. CDPR are a AAA developer too. They wouldn't stoop to censoring indie games out of some silly sense of competition.

Noice. Glad I held out on buying the Vita version. As much as I'd like to support the Vita, this is definitely looking like the superior edition.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Sustenance?

I'd buy that.

Supposedly the tragically overlooked and under-appreciated PS2 game God Hand had that exact mechanic. It had a meter which measured your fighting skill. It would increase or decrease depending on how well you dealt with enemies and how many times you got hit.

The better you did, the harder enemies would be.

I wouldn't be too sure. I Am Alive was turned to a digital only game, and that was absolutely intended to be a boxed full release.

I think the title is just a weird coincidence with Hearthstone, as this game was announced and kickstarted earlier and independently of Blizzard's announcements. There are simply some trendy words that infect the entertainment industry from time to time.

Around the release of Avatar, there were like 3+ movies/ games being released with "Pandora" in it (Borderlands, Avatar, Pandorum, etc.). There was a time where several games had Revelations in the title (Assass...

If they fix the framerate lock and performance issues I'll give this a gander. Was very disappointed with the PC port of MKX though. I really hope WB Studios gets it through their skull that they can't pull this kind of thing anymore.

WTF? They demoed 60fps gameplay last year and they since capped it?

That's incredible, and not in the Hulk way, but in the "impossible to believe" way. Even Arkham City ran at a silky smooth 60fps.

Or lower the geometry/texture quality greatly while in split screen. You get a little gain from the fact that you're rendering half the pixels for each screen, but there's always a way to get it to perform better without killing framerate. Borderlands for the current gen console performs with 1080p/60 4 player splitscreen. It's not the best looking game ever but it's not awful.

From what I've seen Halo 5 isn't a gigantic leap from Halo 4 so why isn'...

I know he's not personally responsible, but removing the choice of local co-op in Halo is very ironic considering Phil Spencer's recent "I want to give people a choice" spiel.

With Bethesda's track record, they have no problem glitching and freezing all the time even without next-gen graphics.

That said, gameplay > graphics. But graphics can definitely enhance the gameplay experience. Games like Killing Floor 2, Destiny, Battlefield, Witcher and others would be much less enjoyable had the game not had just great graphical feedback when shooting, slicing, etc.

His own experience aside, there is no mod in existence even a fraction as well crafted as this gameplay demo we saw. The production values were extremely high, with the most high fidelity models and textures of any Star Wars game yet.

I haven't played the game obviously and have no idea how it will be in its final state, but after the first 10-20 seconds of "run-to-the-battlefield&q uot; gameplay which is similar to all shooters (Battlefield included), the actual gun...

I literally posted three articles in order to get the ability to report this post. I don't have reporting rights yet, can somebody else put a report in on this? This article is completely irrelevant to its title.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Fine by me, I love that game.

Imagine Rogue Legacy with proper progression, better combat mechanics and 2-player co-op.

Konami's response: "You mean you DON'T want CV, Silent Hills or a smooth release of Metal Gear Solid V? Okay, we got some pachinko mobile ports for ya!"
