Geralt uses a tonic that keeps his neck clean shaven, didn't you know? He's a self-respecting monster hunter.

And this is why people get disappointed in games once they release. Take it down a notch, GamesRadar. The hype reactor has reached critical mass. You're comparing basically the 2nd game of an indie developer with one of the most lucrative franchises in all time.

Just take a chill pill and release interviews and media. You're not their marketing team, guys.

The popularity of the PS4's design decisions forcing Microsoft's hand to keep changing their console to be more and more like the PS4. But their post-release revisions to their hardware and software setup will probably cause parity problems as consoles and developers need a set hardware and software standard and API for development/optimization.

This may be good for MS, or it may be the new Cell architecture. Right now PS4 seems to be the lead console for development ...

Don't worry guys, it's Nintendo. They'll figure out some way to screw it up.

If this screenshot is real, then it looks like you're basically hardwiring "X" button to "Y" button, so that would override any control input accepted by the game.

This could be interesting. Remapping face buttons to trigger or shoulder buttons could be a big deal for a lot of FPS gamers.

It's a spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper, so it is absolutely meant to look like DK1 and DK2.

Also, it's running at over 15x the resolution of the PSP (seriously). The PSP ran at 480 x 272, this can go beyond 1920x1080.

Taking into account that these guys are basically making a triple-A game with a shoestring budget. I'd say they're doing okay. I have some issues with some of their graphics choices, but they've acheived a very clean an...

I got to play it at PAX East. It was like Evolve in concept only. The Villain plays more like a really simple RTS, whereas the heroes played almost identically to Dragon Age: Inquisition's MP. With about half the abilities (although that may be a limitation of the demo and not the final game).

It seemed interesting, but I'd have to see the variety of game maps and character progression and customization before recommending it.

Until then you'd be ...

That would be like....removing the two biggest features of the game, man!

But seriously, I'm glad that some developers don't listen to the outcry from people who wouldn't play their game anyways. Some devs know what their market is. I don't personally buy many DoA games, but the ones I've played were solid fighters so I expect they know what they're doing.

Yeah the game looks decent, but from what I've seen while playing the PC version, it's not particularly well optimized. I can get a much higher fidelity/framerate out of games like Wolfenstein: The New Order or even Evolve - which was a really heavy CryEngine game.

It absolutely makes sense that the story would travel through all parts of the Commonwealth. And they strongly hinted at goings-on in the Americas as well. Although I loved the thick London setting, a 19th Century alternate Australia, India, Africa, etc. could be interesting.

I think the color work in the game was fantastic. The gritty streets with the smoke and London fog, the elegant reds and golds of the airship lobby, the gaslights shining in the distance in the night.

The tone and atmosphere was thick in every scene. Let the devs have THAT victory at least, journalists.

Oh stop it you, everybody knows video games cause all negative behavior. Like before these stupid Mario and Pac Man games were out there were no wars---oh okay, well there were a few big ones, but murders---umm, those kinda happen sometimes too, but misogyny----I'll be outside...

Prototype 2's protagonist, Mass Effect's Admiral Anderson, Resident Evil 5's Sheva, Mortal Kombat's Jax, Battlefield 4's "Irish". That's just off the top of my head. The reality is that only 13% of the US population is black, so you're going to naturally see more white and hispanic people than African-American.

That's unless you're Kotaku, where you must demand that every race should be divided equally so that every single frame h...

It seems to me that reviewers (whose reviews have ranged from 7s to 9s mostly) are rating based on what the game HAS, where as most users are rating based on what the game DOESN'T have.

I agree that day one DLC is BS (any DLC built after the game has gone gold is legitimate in my eyes), but I think the community may be being a bit harsh on Turtle Rock on this one. 2K is no stranger to DLC, and with gamers by the droves throwing money at at $15 a pop, you have to consider ...

This is awful. I was a day-one purchaser of this game, as it was a fantastic example of local multiplayer mayhem. Now I'm so conflicted as to whether I should buy from Matt Makes Games again.
