This is another "movie game", so to speak.
Why? Why would I buy GHOSTBUSTERS? I'm an original, meaning, I saw the movie back in 1984 (and loved it), and this game screamed "suckage" from the start.
If any of you say, "yeah, I always thought this was gonna be great, and I want(ed) it from the start". Well, for better or for worse, you should get this game then, and for better or for worse, you deserve what you get.
As in "we don't really know how to program the PS3 very well"?
What did he mean by that?
Tag for later
I was trying and hoping to check it out, but I can't. How can it be opened...I don't see a file extention/codec.
It looks pretty sweet I think.
Did any of you really think this MOVIE-based game was gonna do well? Since when are movie based games actually good?
I wasn't interested in buying this game 3 months ago when I heard about it, I'm not interested now, and I'm not gonna be interested in this game next month.
I was never, and am still not gonna buy Ghostbusters.
Why would I do that? Did any of you think this game was gonna be particularly good? Common sense told me "not likely" months ago.
I still have mine.
But for the record, The Dreamcast didn't have more CPU or GPU power than the PS2.
Also, Dreamcast wasn't "2 generations ago"...it was 1 generation ago, as in the previous or last generation.
One of the reasons it was memorable for many was because it you could burn your own "back up copies" (wink wink) without adding any sort of chip, attachment or program.
Just history food for thought.
There are currently 682 (exclusive: 111; multiplatform: 500; console exclusive: 71) games on this list.

There are currently 457 (exclusive: 101; non exclusive: 345; console exclusive: 8; trophy support: 223; no trophy support: 232; eventual trophy support: 2) games on this list.
Thanks.
Whether you like or buy the game personally, it promises to display some very nice visuals and deliver good family fun. I know most of us like "hardcore" stuff, but there's room for a title like this.
I'm glad it will be available.
:P
In fact, as I understand it, because of the Arcade version (no harddrive), MS has a policy forbidding ANY game with a mandatory install.
I remember hearing about some game developers complaining about it because DVD's are too small for their vision and muli disks costing more money in MS licensing fees.......I think it was John Carmack.
But he's out now, served his time, and doing better.....
Good for him.
:)
When you go to jail, your family and friends can send you money and/or supplies. Some jails offer the facilities/space/privilege to set up a TV and console in your room.
What they may or may not offer, is the ability or access to a WiFi connection....I didn't ask. But assuming WiFi was available, an inmate would easily be able to pay and establish his/her own XBOX LIVE subscription via credit card, game card, or have someone on "the outside" sign it up. No tax payer...
But you can bring your own.
That's how its done in a lot of prisons here in the states.
Serves as a good babysitter. It's also a "privilege" and as such, it's a motivation to encourage good behavior.
Draw from that what you will.
:P
I watched his "Twitter" rumor/prediction.
I also saw his GT5-Home Space come to light.
It should be acknowledged that he was half right about Rockstar North developing an exclusive game for PS3. It wasn't GTA 5, however.
They may not watch every week, but as soon as a high profile interview goes in, David Jaffe for example, most of these people who claim to be repulsed by HHG's site, they are there watching........silently.
Currently, Killzone 2 IS graphically the "highest benchmark" for console games.
Is Gears of war (either of them) looked upon as the current "highest standard" of console gaming tech?
NO.
Killzone 2 is the CURRENT standard.
Before that, Uncharted was. And next up.......UNCHARTED 2.
Next up after that? I suspect it will be either GOD OF WAR 3 or Gran Turismo 5.
Why are there no XBOX 360 games in this ...
