I notice that the ones complaining, as quoted in the article, they are female.
Microsoft doesn't make money from PC games.....unless of course Microsoft has developed and/or published said game.
The game is "old" and doesn't move major units anymore. The only thing that could happen is for the game to have a nice spike in sales because it goes console mulitplatform.....Good for Epic.
Basically, Microsoft has already gotten its use out of the game already.
Hi Pandamobile, I just wanted to show you where I found that the Cell does do animation, graphics rendering and processing. On a different site, there was a group of people who I had mentioned it to and they had a hard time believing and/or understanding, I presume because typically, no other consumer CPU does that...anyways, here you are:
"In fact, the God of War III team rely on the SPUs to accelerate both the PlayStation 3's GPU (RSX) and the PPU. They then detailed the sys...
The CELL processor can and does do graphics rendering and processing.
I think you've been told that before.
I bought Lego Star Wars about 4 months ago for $20....its a good game. Not a GREAT game, but certainly worth playing...dare I say, a must play if you are a Star Wars original fan.
My little nephew and niece love it too....great for family fun when violent-bloody "shoot em in the head till the white meat shows" just wont do.
I don't see why a PSN RE RELEASE of Chrono Trigger would be all that great for us....the PS1 version is alive and well along with Final Fantasy 4, waiting to be purchased for 15 dollars....That's what I paid about 7 weeks ago.....I still have yet to open and play it btw, I gotta get on that.
Now, not undestanding most of the story, that's a whole different matter. heh
Because remember, Sony's forecast was to have 13 million PS3 units sold this year.
Because there's no other game that can move worldwide hardware units like GT franchise, there can be no other explanation.
The Orange box, regardless if it was or wasn't good at launch, it's awesome now though.

"Estavillo also claims that the PSN ban amounts to a theft of his pre-paid points:
The plaintiff...cannot access [his] money when a moderator from Resistance and Sony gives a player a arbitrary wide-range ban... which in essence, is stealing money from the player..."
Again, assuming this is true, Plaintiff does have a reasonable point with this aspect.
Maybe you misunderstood what I was conveying. I'm a PS3 only guy, at least for now. My example was that of a personal and real life experience and I wasn't implying this experience of "$100" was exclusive to PS3. In fact, I did say,
"So it's pretty fair to add $100 easy to any new gaming system, and that's getting by fairly cheap."
I clearly said and meant ANY system.
Curious.
When I bought my PS3 6 months ago, I paid 399.99 for the system, but then there was tax, $20 cables, and 2 games The Orange Box for $20, and GTA 4 secondhand through Craigslist for $30.
So it's pretty fair to add $100 easy to any new gaming system, and that's getting by fairly cheap.
The plaintiff can be arbitrarily banned at any point in time by Sony...no problem.
But, if plaintiff has paid money for services, most likely he is owed a refund.
It sets a bad precedent if said company takes peoples money and then quickly kicks people out thereafter. I know, you know, we all know that doesn't happen often, but it could from other potential unscrupulous companies.
Assuming you have a PS3, why would you not want to check out something that free, especially if you never have before?
I'm trying to understand where you're coming from, NMC2007.
But honestly,
As far as system sellers are concerned, Madden is a stronger franchise than Uncharted is.
Not that this would ever happen, but if Sony somehow got total or termed exclusivity out of Madden, that would be FREAKIN HUGE for U.S. sales.....not to mention all the mouths that would collect ants and various bugs from the jaws dropping to the ground.
-Remember, Sony made that 13 million console unit estimate/forcast.
-Next, So many games are being pushed back into 2010...some even beyond that.
-Sure, a PS3 price drop would be nice, but that alone wont be enough to make 13 million sold units. So that means something else would need to be up their sleeves.....something BIG...HUGE.
There's only 1 game that can assure guaranteed huge numbers AND sell consoles, only 1.
Anyone wanna take a g...
But I have to give credit where credit is due. As a software dev., Nintendo has created masterpieces for almost 30 years. To deny Nintendo their just do with everything they've made and continues to make to this day....that would just be plain wrong.
