The only DLC I intend to buy is FAT PRINCESS.
However, 2 weeks ago, I bought THE ELDER SCROLLS: OBLIVION (Game of the year edition) for $20 and I'm enjoying it. So maybe when Fallout GoTY comes out, maybe I'll consider getting it.
But since I haven't experienced any Fallout versions, and since I too feel a little spat upon, I feel I should speak with my wallet to Bethesda.....No Fallout DLC's.
Thanks for the link, I had never seen that before....probably cause I'm fairly new around here.....thanks though. :)

No where does it say in that article that Sony is Scaling back parts for or because of the PS3...NOWHERE.
Sony buys parts and supplies for SEVERAL DOZENS OF PRODUCTS....Sony wants to spend less on these parts and supplies.
*shakes head.
You misunderstand what you are reading.
you see, a GIGABYTE is not 1,000 MEGABYES....but actually it's 1,024.
So when you do the math, in actual BINARY, you get a little less. In this case its comes to 7.95...just under 8 GB in REAL LIFE.
Is price. Something like this would be very cost prohibitive....even more than what Bluray was.....something like double.
However, high cost usually is only temporary.
The biggest barrier however is the timeframe to get this thing moving. 2014? That won't work either because new next gen consoles will be on their way in 2011-2012.
Also, to some people touting Digital Downloads as the future for next gen consoles....think again. Because most of the world, ...
7.95 GB.

Then, also, I understand that almost 2 gig's of storage for each disk has to be reserved for specific protocols regarding MS security and unrelated gaming features.
But it ain't gonna happen before 2012.
Too many countries, including the U.S. are struggling just trying to get everyone off of DIAL UP line/speeds, let alone getting everyone with 40-50mb super high internet speeds needed to download games and movies at reasonable efficiency.
Besides that, I don't know about you, but I want my physical copy. I want my case, my book, my disk.....all the good ol fashioned way.....except the blowing on cartridges, that I could go withou...
Scaling back on some parts and supplies for ANY number of products,
And totally canceling your PS3 line are 2 TOTALLY different things, dude.
How is that a mistake?
Necessity spurs invention.
Sony Created the dearth of their titles out from the necessity to feed their PS1, PS2, and now PS3 consoles. Sony might still have had some games...but nothing to the degree that they have now.
Besides, both companies seemed to have done just fine without each other.
This is not an experiment that I would have liked to see happen.
Tomorrow?
No thanks.
Because likely,
we wouldn't have had all the PS1, PS2, and PS3 games we have today.
Sony built its 17 dev houses to bring its own games to its own systems in order to not only maximize its profits, but seemingly to put out some of the the best titles known in the video game industry.
If Sony never had it's own system in the first place, Sony would never have developed all of its game houses and we wouldn't be better off for it.
But I have to agree with the main premise of Mr. qface64 (post 4).
2009 is nearly half way completed and--according to METACRITIC-- XBOX has only a total of 2 bonifide AAA titles for the year (STREET FIGHER 4 and GTA 4 The L&D).
The PS3 on the other hand has 4 total AAA titles (SF4, Killzone 2, MLB The Show, and Infamous (officially due in 6 days).
With Sony's strong purported line up, and with very few exclusive games reported due this year on MS's part, I th...
How do I watch a movie or a TV show on my PS3?
Perfect Dark only recommended the ram upgrade for better graphics.
I still have my N64 hooked up to a little TV in one of the rooms for the kids to play.
lol
N64 is nearly indestructible....A nuclear blast could go off and the N64 might still power up.....wouldn't play PERFECT DARK anymore though....and btw...I'd still have to blow on the cartridges too.
:P
You get a bubble Tarmgar for bringing back good memories.
The add ons themselves wasn't the biggest problem, the bigger problem was the ABANDONMENT of their addons and the Saturn. But the "abandonment" wasn't the BIGGEST problem. The biggest problem was the PS2. Dreamcast was doing pretty descent for a while, but lo and behold, Sony's mere mention of the then upcomming PS2 was enough to nearly stop Dreamcast sales right in its tracks. Sega even price dropped it to $150 and eventually $99...but even that didn't help, sadly.

I never played Indigo Prophesy,
but one of the main aspects of Heavy Rain is supposed to be that if/when your main character dies, another character in the story becomes the main protagonist, changing the story telling dynamics greatly. No game has ever done that before....Movies don't even do that.
I'm excited to see this game in action.
In the UK, they probably haven't even heard of SPRINT out there.
Sprint is the one who was behind the free Ragdoll Kung Fu game.
I'm not sure if the UK got the the free Home stuff either.
Hopefully they fix the second one. And to be honest, it wouldn't take that much fixing. All they had to do really was make decent missions.
Anyways...hope they fix it as the first 1 was about a 7.
You clearly have forgotten about the likes of GOD OF WAR 3, and GRAN TURISMO 5. You must also have not noticed the likes of inFAMOUS, how before its even hit the stores, it's pretty much already touted as a AAA title. Then what about the other new IP's, MAG, WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES (out in Japan), or FAT PRINCESS? Did you forget about a new Ratchet & Clank game? You already know about Heavy Rain, and I'm very excited about a type of story that has NEVER been done before....MAIN PR...
