1. The US and half the world is in the middle of a SERIOUS recession.
2. MS just lost money for the year/quarter.
3. MS games division lost money.
4. MS closing game studios, even successful ones such as ENSEMBLE.
5. XBOX repairs and replacements have cost MS more money than they'd hoped....into the billions
6. MS is getting ready to release, push, and market a new Windows OS in place of the floundering/failing Vista.
This is the game that is owed to Sony that was due to Sony letting Take 2 off the hook for the timed exclusivity of GTA 4.
This game, THE AGENT, is a TOTAL exclusive game that will fulfill Rockstar/Take 2's contractual obligation to Sony.
We talked about this before....just a few weeks ago. Rockstar/Take 2 owed Sony an exclusive game specifically from Rockstar in lieu of Sony letting Take 2 out of its prior TIMED/TERMED exclusive of GTA 4.
The only thing we didn't know was what the specific game was to be.....we know now.

I notice most people here when addressing the PS3's AAA exclusives of 2009, most of the time they don't mention MLB The Show. That game is a Sports GAME OF THE YEAR Candidate.

I didn't agree with it, but HHG's new writer "MASTER SAMO" writes pretty well.
Still don't agree with what he's sellin in it though, but if nothing else, I had fun reading it......fairly entertaining read imo.
Assassin's Creed had great potential. It had the stealth thing goin on, roller coaster drop-feeling dives, beautiful graphics, a somewhat interesting story, and even had actual history sprinkled in backing it up.
I had lots of fun for a few hours messing with guards, doing the stealth thing, and climbing buildings pretending I was Spider Man or something. But as any reviewer would know, those are mere DISTRACTIONS, albeit, fun distractions, but distractions nonetheless. Eventu...
I personally consider AAA QUALITY to be THE BEST OF THE BEST. And so there can be no mistake, AAA QUALITY should be 90+.....Not 88, or 89 or 89.99999.....90+. Like the Baseball Hall of fame SHOULD be....AAA shouldn't represent The Hall of GOOD.
And I challenge anyone who'd like to try, show me any game with a 90+ score on Metacritic that doesn't deserve it.
By the way, I'm a PS3 only owner, and I'm sorry to say, as much as I was hoping, I don't think inFAMOUS meets...
I for 1 am a user of the WiFi and am quite glad it's included.
Also, there will be no price cut of $50. It will be $100 or none at all. $50 is not enough to actually make a SIGNIFICANT difference, and I bet Sony realizes this.
Honestly, I bet we don't see any price cut announcement at E3 at all anyways. But the next price cut we do see, it will be $100.
Microsoft still has a lot of "bad" mindshare regarding the XBOX 360 (failure rate), not to mention the original XBOX's short lifespan. If they were to release a new XBOX, they would be delving into SEGA territory.
I honestly don't think MS has the credibility or the "webos" to do that...and they'd be right not to.
I mean, with everything you know about XBOX 360 first runs, would you buy an "XBOX 3" as soon as you could?

While I agree that GOD OF WAR 3 will probably do about 3-4 millionish numbers, and most PS3 games will not outdo Gears or Halo, there's 1 game that might that you didn't reference......
GRAND TURISMO 5 very well could, and trends say it will.

For consoles, developers bring the games to us, vs. us having to go to the games.
