I've heard a few people say this, that XBOX 360 is "alot" cheaper.
But as I mentioned, I fairly recently made my decision to to buy an XBOX, and I cited my reason, my main reason anyways, from the reliability factor. That is true, but there was a host of other factors and considerations that I weighed in on....one of them being price.

Personally, I don't care about these "sales" that people want to keep throwing out there......I don't own any Sony or MS stock, but for those that do, then yes, that is a relevant stat. Sony's (Game division) long term aspirations don't just deal with PS3, but rather, their goals revolve around the PS2 and even the PSP. Also the reason why you hear about their "10 year life cycle" so much, so it's definitely relevant.

Basically, I had enough money to buy any 1 system that I wanted but I could only buy 1 system, and because of personal econ. and finances, I knew I'd be "stuck" with only 1 system for quite a while.

An XBOX with harddrive is $299.99.
With a 360 you still have LIVE to buy ($50) and a rechargeable battery pack (20-30 bucks). You'll still be missing WiFi, Bluetooth, a HDTV disk drive (BluRay/HD-DVD), but for all intents and purposes:
PS3 = $399.99
360 = $370.00 minimum
Both systems have nice games, I just wanted to share the close parity of price between the 2 systems since it seems to be lost on many people.

But what I've noticed, is this guy keeps progressing.
I personally find his show entertaining. Just like anyone or anything, he's not perfect and can improve on some things, but I do see him one day doing something on TV.

Of course I didn't buy Fallout period, and considering how many people say that it's broken, I don't really see the point in getting it now. Perhaps they may earn my money with a GOTY edition with all the DLC's included. I bought OBLIVION GOTY Edition 2 1/2 months ago for $20...Maybe I'll get Fallout at that price....maybe.
