But I have to admit,
I really liked GTA 4 and the expansions are probably the first DLC stuff I would get.
And believe it or not, I think XBOX 360 has some nice games, whoever says otherwise is lying.
Same with PS3.
In GTA there's a little girl that I killed just last week......I killed her.
I also walked into a Burger Shot and fist fought and killed an old lady (Looked like a granny.) during an online GTA Race.
Again....Censorship is what's at the heart of my objection here.
You all seem to want Censorship.
Btw, Ive been to NEWGROUNDS.COM....and they show some interesting Flash animations based on Columbine and 9/11 and other "mature" subjec...
Some games are meant to be in jest (tongue in cheek),so to speak.
The point is, CENSORSHIP. Censorship is what is at the heart of the issue here.
I don't care how offensive a song, a movie, a video game, a magazine, a website is, I DON'T want it censored.
Censoring 1 can and will lead to censoring more.
I'm an adult, and respectfully, I don't need you, them or anyone else telling me what I should and shouldn't have in my media.

I simply do not see the difference between killing innocent women and children in a GTA type game,
And then killing people in a terrorist attack.
How can most of you here claim to be all for video game's, and be against censorship, and then turn around and want to censor a game that tells a story from a terrorists perspective.
Is that not hippocritical?
Somethings very wrong with the idea of "CENSORSHIP FOR SOME".
Please.
Game design is an artform. Thus, to the artist telling his/her story, sometimes that story is shocking, appalling, sometimes downright hideous to some. But art is art, and at NO TIME do I want to see art suppressed.
If said artist/designer wants to bring on a game where we, the observer is looking through the eyes of a "terrorist", I for one would like to experience this point of view. Personally I think it would be an interesting perspective.

to not remember the big recession we are in and half the world as well.
Who's NOT on a budget these days? Lots of people can't afford all of the systems. Hell, even if we weren't in a recession, most people still don't usually have enough money to get all the systems.
Real life works that way sometimes, FantasyStar.
Btw, don't worry about the comment....no big deal.
At anyrate, I was wondering if you'd do me the favor of going to METACRITIC, look a the 12 PS3 games that have scored 90+, then tell me which of those 12 doesn't belong on that elite list.
Seriously, do me that favor, because I'm curious on your find...kinda like research for me, in a manner of speaking.
Thanks.

I'll bring the list to you:
1 Grand Theft Auto IV 98

I don't think they are the be all end all, but they seem to do a good job of weeding out the average games from the AAA quality games.
To say that Forza 2 isn't a AAA quality title would be disingenuous...not that you did say that.
Their review scores actually favor the PS3 for 2009, if that matters to you.
Can you edit or retype what your were saying, because I could not understand you. I'm not a stickler for internet grammer, but I honestly could not understand you.
Because Madden has been a shell of it's former self for years.
Ever since EA "Microsoft'ed" the game to be the only NFL Football game you can play, Madden hasn't won any major awards and has only been INCREMENTALLY innovative....and only enough just to barely get by.
Madden is NOT Gran Turismo....at least that is my hope.
According to METACRITIC:
Forza Motorsport 2, developed and published by Microsoft, released in 2007.....Forza Motorsport 2 scored a 90.
In terms of quality that game is AAA.
Conversely,
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, developed by Polyphony Digital (Sony subsidiary) and published by Sony, released in 2008.....Gran Turismo 5 Prologue scored an 80.
I know that GT5 Prologue is not THE FULL game, so that should be duly noted, but at the same t...
One MAIN CORE, 8 SPU's (6 for general processing, 1 for the OS, 1 Turned off)
"On May 17, 2005, Sony Computer Entertainment confirmed some specifications of the Cell processor that would be shipping in the forthcoming PlayStation 3 console.[17][18][19] This Cell configuration will have one Power processing element (PPE) on the core, with eight physical SPEs in silicon.[19] In the PlayStation 3, one SPE is locked-out during the test process, a practice which helps to improve ma...

"In fact, the God of War III team rely on the SPUs to accelerate both the PlayStation 3's GPU (RSX) and the PPU. They then detailed the systems running on the SPUs, which include animation, cloth, collision, procedural textures, culling, shadows, push buffer generation...
It can only render a holodeck.
Next gen though.

Hey ultimolu,
At the risk of sounding all goodie 2 shoes or something,
I think you might be a little misguided. Don't get me wrong, I have a PS3 (can only afford 1 system atm), and I genuinely feel it was the better investment of all three current-gen consoles, so in a manner of speaking, we are on the "same team". But if you happen to be blessed enough to own both a PS3 and and XBOX 360, I think you should be greatfull to be so fortunate. I mean, If I ...
If you support Bethesda in this, you encourage more of the same tactics of screwing us again.
They didn't even bother to lift hardly a finger to fix the broken parts of the game for the PS3 users...like a total "F" you to us.
I do care about that.....
You should too.
Is a new METAL GEAR coming or not?
