Now mind you, I'm pretty new here, I'm even fairly new to this generation of gaming and I almost skipped the whole 6th generation (I had a Dreamcast). But why would anyone outright refuse multiplayer? Isn't multiplayer for most games considered a "bonus" of sorts? I've always thought of Online content in single player games as free stuff thrown on top of the main course?
So, if someone's giving out free stuff, I don't care if it's totally bad to me, I'll still accept...
This 32 bit-era looking FAT PRINCESS game seems to exhibit proof that Gameplay trumps Graphics.
I'm lovin it, but,
How come I can't have a beta? :(
I'm fairly new around here,
Can someone show me or give me the link of where Hip Hop Gamer was giving this prediction?
Thank you.
I went to play poker and the cards are so small in your playhand, that they are barely legible, I literally won a hand but was guessing as to what card I had. I'm hoping they fix that
There was some sort of networking problem that prevented most from getting into the racing game, so that was a bummer too.
The golf section had a "Comming Soon" sign and there was an R/C track that didn't do anything.
Finally, I went to the mall and played a game...
When I bought my PS3 at Frys Electronics 4 months ago, right after I purchased it I asked the cashier for scissors so I could cut the bands and open the box, and check-matched the serial numbers.
Always, ALWAYS check the box before you take it out of said store.....Always.
I wonder if the multiplatform concept is holding the PS3 back to only 40 players?
Yes.
I just recently started playing BF:BC online (I had been neglecting it because I'm enjoing GTA 4 online so much......I'm a fairly new PS3 owner) on PS3 and it seems to be pretty busy.
It's kinda hard though.
Madden 2010 might be a safe bet.
;)
Can you rewrite what you said, Godmars290? I'm interested, but a few grammatical errors might be causing me to misinterpret what you're saying.
Thanks.
NO JUSTICE NO PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!11111
Oh wait,
I have a PS3.
:P
lol
You get a Trivia Bonus bubble just on general principle for bringing up Luke Jokewalker.
:P
Well,
Apparently the "******* stupid Fanboys", as you put it, were in fact right.
Are you gonna return with an apology to the "******* stupid Fanboys"?
It would only count as fair.
;)
actually Strikepackage Bravo,
about XBOX leading in all other regions except Japan:
I'm not so sure that's true.
First, Europe's sales figuers for some reason seems to exclude the UK as it seems to have it's own market-bracket.
Well, according to Wikepedia, PS3: 8.5 million as of February 3, 2009.

Then, unfortunately, because Wiki's update for XBOX 360's for Europe only detailed as far as Nov....
LilMissGoddess,
At the risk of being trivial, because I do feel "controller arguements" are being trivial,
Why do you claim the XBOX 360's controller is better? I'm asking because I've heard this "trivial" argument before, but it doesn't make sense.
How can an XBOX controller be better than a PS3 controller if it's clearly less advanced?
--Doesn't the XBOX controller use AA batteries? (um....1983 anyone)

"the 360 had a year head start and a 18 month head start in Europe cost half as much and its only got a 8 million lead, this article sounds like the desperate ramblings of a fan boy, and don't call the 360 next gen thats an insult."
I was a little confused by what you meant by "and don't call the 360 next gen thats an insult."
Do you mean that because we are currently in the 7th Generation of consoles, then that is not technically "NEXT GEN"...
rbrtchng,
True, this guy said several times that he isn't a developer/programmer, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know what he's talking about. Since he's around games and the industry, I'm sure he's been exposed to quite a bit. I myself for example am not technically proficient enough to tell you how a video card renders all of its 1's and 0's, but in general, I know rudamentarilly how it works.
If I or you were to go to tons of game and tech conventions tal...
Um....you're saying we should buy a $200 XBOX 360 (no harddrive) for downloadable content?
Obviously, that was a small error on your part, but no big deal. So, you must have meant, "Buy the $300 XBOX 360 (with harddrive)", right? The problem is, $300 is a good chunk of change, especially on these economic fronts. As of now, there's a lot of people out of work or worried that they soon will be....LOTS. So for many, going out and buying a $400 PS3 and then a $300 XBOX 36...
"Games we just stole for cash" page on their website
That was both funny and true.
Honestly, if you're questioning the financial ability of MS, well.... that's really a question that shouldn't be up for questioning at all.
But no, why would MS "steal" MGS4 a year and a half after release? That would be an unwise deployment of funds. That ain't gonna happen.
Now, a different interation of MGS, who knows.....Konami's changed sides before.
*shrug*
I rented this game a week after I bought my PS3 4 months ago.
I had seen alot of high-review scores, seen some of the graphics online and boy, I was sold.
So I popped the game in an I was blown away by the concept and the graphics. For a while I just couldn't get enough of making Altair dive from high perches because it would physically give me that "roller coaster drop" feeling. I can't remember a game ever doing that too me so well. So, for a few hours...
