why does it need to 'beat halo' though. Besides killzones metacritic is currently 91, halo 3's is 94.
So are you saying that because killzone got 3 less points than halo3, it's not worth playing. I mean i enjoyed halo 3 but i stopped play it a looooonnng time ago and played and enjoyed plenty of games since then, most not beating halo on metacritic...

hmm so Killzone is a bad game because it only got 90% on metacritic... Seems like your the sorta kid who will believe anything. Is 'bashing' a 'rival console' something you kids discuss on the playground. never visited this site before but noticed 1 of the writers in the advert is the guy from zero punctuation so i have a feeling this review isn't all that serious...
may sound like a weird comparison but could be alot like dc universe online, superpowered crimefighters teaming up to take on criminals etc... bascially what you'll be doing in dc online
I played the hell outa online on killzone 1 but in general that game recieved mediocre reviews but then here we have kz2 getting loads of hype (and imo deserved hype) because the game looks like it's gonna be amazing.
Thats the same with Lost Planet 2 in the sense that from what we've seen so far from the trailer it looks great. I never bought the first, but the demo was fun. Looking at Lost Planet 2, it's certainly a game i wanna keep my eye on

moving from IE to firefo was a great move for me. I don't know why MS would wanna have two browsers though... wouldn't it make more sense to completely overhall IE and keep the name IE.
I'm sure a vast majority of pc users use IE simply because it comes with the OS, they probably don't realise there are other browsers out there. So why make a browser which will actually be competing with your own software??

He seemed a bit meh about the whole review and then gave it a 8.4 I was expecting more a 7.5 from the way he was talking.
Basically said that it's a pretty good rts for consoles but lacks depth. Guess that was my main problem with the demo. Having played games like World in Conflict, Company of Heroes and was participating in the DoW2 beta i just felt halo wars was a bit boring.

I really don't have the time for home as it's of no interest to me but haven't Sony already made a large some of money just from people buying virtual clothing and furniature!
My point being i'll probably never use it but i don't see why Sony would scrap it if they're making money... I would however hope that they do still remember improvmenets to the rest of their service e.g. improving friends lists and so on. Only worry is that they will focus too much on home

well the original was eventually released for ps3 early last year and this trailer wouldn't mention the ps3 since it was for xbl but i'd be surprised if they didn't realease this on ps3.
also they should manage a good job since graphically atleast, there isn't much of a difference between platforms for sf4 and resi5
yeh. i think before the boat though there is the helicoptor in the snow etc, that could be cgi and then when it gets to the boat that ingame like killzone 2 when you start the levels like you say

as mentioned by a few sensible people, killzone 2 was released today in Europe so of course the servers are up and people are playing!

I'm from UK and my play.com order was dispatched yesterday so was expecting it today but looking around forums it seems no-one else has recieved it :( hopefully tomorrow though cus some of my mates have already got promo copies and are playing online atm
