Can't wait tbh. first was 1 of the best single player stories recently and i'm sure the second will be just as good, if not better. Now i have to decide what platform to buy it on cus i could have it on my pc, 360 or ps3 :( obv choice would be pc but i'm ashamed to admit i love trophies/achievemnts
I don't get how people can have a go at the controls when everyone loved re4? It's not like they couldn't do moving and shooting last gen... so why wasn't it a problem then. But now suddenly it's not acceptible in this day and age. Just have a think about some of the arguments your starting...
Can't wait for some more info. I hope it exceeds killzone 2 tbh cus lets face it, kz is a great game but in around 6 months time i'd like an even bigger and better game. COD4 was a good game but there were too many 'nooby' things online, hope they think a bit more about balancing in this 1, especially with the perks system

last line of the article was interesting tbh. What games do shift systems? and in all fairness it's true. games like Killzone2 for example, wouldn't have shifted consoles because chances are people wanting to play this game will already have bought a ps3 a long time ago.
I'd say that the only games that will really sell hardware are newly announced good looking games e.g. Alan Wake might attract someone to buy a 360, same as gow might have done. Halo fans would have bought a 360 ...

well theres been 1 every year at the same time since 06. hoping they try some new stuff with this and don't just recycle cod4
i imagine the multi-player would be great at a lan but online it's horrible. The first was pretty bad most of the time but the second just feels unplayable with all the glitches, host adv etc. Hope they get it fixed for the third cus like i say, the actually multi-player concept is good, let down by poor servers/netcode or whatever.
Single player was better in the second though from being alot more varied and Horde was a welcome addition
got 1 around a month ago for £180 in the uk cus they're really good value for what you're getting. Would be annoying if they came down in price here soon though cus i really aint made the most of it yet :/

pretty much the reasons that put me off halo wars. Got too many games to play atm, including another rts, DOW2. Halo wars just didn't have enough of what i wanted tbh. Great game for newcomers to RTS though
although i understand what you're saying the analogy wasn't great :p if you put a Ferrari engine in a mini cooper it would still go bloody fast, but you would still be behind the wheel of a mini and not a Ferrari i guess...

I doubt it was Kz that killed your ps3. It probably just died and would have done regardless of what game you were playing.
when it was released me and my clan tried to see how long we could play it for straight. the winner did 1 day 7 hours lmao his ps3 is still ok though. I've had some guys who have had several though but most still using their launch console
yeh gta4 was a great game but would have been interesting to have seen it just on ps3 where they could focus on 1 platform.
I'm not saying the ps3 is more powerful than the 360. They're very very similar with developers making both amazing and poor games for both. But it's not hard to realise that it they could fit a lot more on a blue-ray disk + could afford to have an install knowing all ps3 owners have a hdd.
hows providing wireless a bad thing for us gamers?? I do agree about the mic though. There are alot more people using headsets now though tbh. It's good in the sense that you can use any bluetooth or usb headset so can get a nice and comfy 1 but i do think they should start including the official ps3 bluetooth headset with every ps3.
But on topic. Everyone knows Live is more popular online. It's just unusual to see that the wii is more popular than the ps3 online with such a smal...
I don't mind if they add a multi-player mode, so long as they still focus on the single player as the main stength of the game. What i'd be dissapointed to see is co-op because co-op means that for the whole game you'll have to have some annoying ai controlled character (when your not playing with a friend) which is 1 of my few dislikes with resi5. Not to mention Bioshock gave you that great sense of immersion being a lone guy stumbling upon rapture. I think this immersion would be lost if th...
