quite liked playing the multi-player demo for the first, was something a bit different but didn't really sell it enough for me to wanna buy the full game. will keep an eye on this though.

Wanna get some more info on this game. There seems to be alot of hype surrounding it but i'm not sure why when we don't really know anything about it. Fingers crossed it will be another good game to add to my collection but for now i'm not gonna get over excited. I guess you can get hyped over the concept of a game but then again this sorta game has been done before...

I was annoyed when mine broke, i mean who wouldn't be, but 1 or 2 weeks later and i had a working console again at no cost at all, not even p&p.
Of course it would be nice to have the 360's failrate reduced but with the service they offer if your console does fail then whats to complain about?
but i thought that was a pretty fair looks at both consoles and agree that the ps3 is still behind the 360 over-all despite using my ps3 more than 360, this is down to my clan competitin on ps3 games however.
I'm sure if this prizfight was done a year ago the 360 would have been much further ahead because i beleive the ps3 is catching up and within 6 month to a year i think ps3 will be on par with the 360. then peoples decisions will pretty much come down to which has the exclus...
guessing it's because they only seem to have reviewed 1 other game and they didn't actually give that a score.
a ps3 fanboy could go write a review and give it a 1/10 but it wouldn't mean it's a valid score..
I guess sites have to start somewhere though. it's just odd that they don't have a 'proper' rating system, looking at their lotr:conquest review they don't actually give it a score out of 10 :/
actually lotr:conquest is the only game review they did and they finished the review by saying they hadn't finished the game yet...
i'm shocked tbh. i'd say it should get the award for inovation because loads of games have done dlc or modding but theres been very few games that have made it the sole reason to play.
i am surprised it got so many though when i think about all the other games that came out last year. Haven't played lbp half as much as some titles
looks gd for baseball fans but for me being british, i just find the idea of baseball boring as hell. Dunno why a sport like this is so popular tbh. i guess the most similar sport would be rounders, very similar but traditionally played by women and no1 cares about that haha
i can understand why american football is such a big sport and i quite enjoy that but baseball? each to their own
hoping to get on this beta, looks like a fun game to play. Game is due before April though so we'll see if they make that deadline because it's already been delayed from the summer 08 release
didn't realise it was from edge, then i noticed some comments, then i noticed the source.
I think Edge should just get on with things rather than brining this up again jsut because people said they we're biased (plus N4G had been quiet recently on the whole Edge kz2 review)
My thoughts: Metacritic gives an overall view of a game from several different people from different sites (most being reputable) and can help someone decide on a purchase of a game.

i really hope the overhall alot of cod4 rather than 'playing it safe' cod4 was good for it's production values etc etc and was a really good over all game, but competitively it's just not fun. It's a game where anyone can be good and few can be great e.g. perks like jugga, martydom etc
i really hope they rethink things like the perks system because i don't know anyone who thinks martydom/jugga are a good thing
also hoping they put as much effort into the ps3 version ...
way i saw it was yes i know the experience is different each time etc but with just the 4 scenarios i didn't bother rushing out to buy it. When i saw it on steam for £14 i thought why the hell not :D saying that though i've barely played it :|

as expected 360 version edges it, mainly down to the anit-aliasing. But i wonder in a fast paced fighting game how easily you would actually spot this.
If i decide to get this (and the reviews are persuading me) - then i'll get it on the ps3. i don't have an aracde stick and so for the sake of anti-aliasing i'd rather use the better controller for the game.
it is an impressive update. just under 1gb of stuff for free :o as mentioned about criterion - never seen so much support for a game as burnout and it's paid of cus it's what helped me make a decision about buying it a week or so ago
ah wicked. i'm affraid 2 say i like my trophies so guess i'll pop back on it sometime
was a great game but seemed like particulary on ps3, there wern't many ppl online even at it's peak (me and most of my clan got into the top 10 :D) - think because it was a change of pace compared to other games out there such as cod4 which most ppl didn't like - especially having to get used to using analogues on such a fast game.
Would be surprised if ppl still play this tho. last time i went on i just played offline instagib with insane bots - stupidly gd on this game lol
yeh i just edited my own post after watching the trailer. just looks like it will be a very detailed game. they say almost all ingame, wonder if that means the start but is some cgi cutscne and then what looks like ingame actually is. OR it is all ingame but it's been touched up for the vid.
