signed up to the beta aaaaggggeeeesss ago now so hopefully got more chance of getting in. will wait and see though. I just enjoy beta testing any game + heroes looks quite interesting
ah well. it's at 11 on the american amazon and 3rd on uk. Saying that though it's number 1 on every other major uk site i've just checked so glad i got my pre-order in when i did!
aslong as i get it on release day i'm happy :p

Seriously don't go off the title and actually read the article. The title is completely missleading. You're just embaressing yourselves tbh by instantly jumping to defend killzone and shout down an article you haven't even read.
i'd also like to add that i'm really looking frwd to kz2 but i'm not some idiot who disagrees with an article i haven't even read!
which is why i'm so confused about the title! The guys main problem was that the controls are love or hate but then goes on to say:

Actually he says they may not work. Article title states that they 'will not work' but that's not strictly true... not worth paying that much for anyway imo, even for the full game
good read. I've got used to the controls alot more now but the guide has helped me look at things differently since i'm still so used to moveing the analogue stick all the way in 1 direction when turning :p I'm really glad it's the way it is though since it has a learning curve and i'm sure it will make online much more competitive. No offence to COD fans because i used to be a big fan myself, but anyone can go on that game and be good - easy to use weapons, hardly any recoil, large drum mags...
I'd consider a fanbase to be different to someone being a 'fanboy' e.g. alot of people like myself bought a ps3 because they owned a ps1 and ps2 but they can still enjoy the other consoles... i bought an xbox back in the day as well as my ps2, to play halo and i bought a 360 while i was waiting for the ps3 because i wanted to play games like vegas.
well the ending to KZ2 is apparently pretty anti-climactic. Was surprised with gow2 though when you compare it to the original final boss
It won't stop but i really wish it did. I mean i own a ps3, 360 and powerfull pc so i want to hear about gaming news and not why some poeple think a certain console is better than the other or whatever. how can it kill you're controler. perhaps your article needs explaining better... guessing you mean the fact that you use L3 for sprint... if so you realise that you don't need to hold it in for sprint, or you could just use a different button

Anyway i think i'll have to give this another go tonight. I'm a massive rts fan but my first play through of the demo bored me to death. It's been getting alot of praise though and it seems it's a game that grows on you. Gonna give the demo another bash and see it grows on me too. Even though the controls are good though i really wish i could use a k/m :( surprised ms don't offer some compatibility even if it only recognise...
I think he's popular because he says it how it is. If he loves a game then he says it and likewise if he hates a game then he says it, regardless of what console it's on because from what i gather he loves GAMING and so he's voicing his opinion.

the first game had raam who was crazy hard on insane and envolved certain tactics/precise aiming and so when i got to the final boss on gow2 i was like wow this is 'bigger, better and more badass' and then you hit it once or twice with the hammer of dawn and bam this collosal boss is finished. I just wanted a big boss fight ...

been waiting for kz2 for so long since the clan i'm in now formed on the original and been with em since but i'm a massive rts fan so decided to give halo wars a go. After playing what the pc has to offer in terms of rts i just didn't feel it was deep enough. I guess it's trying to appeal to guys that don't usually play rts as i see most of the comments saying your not rts fans but love HW.
Think i'll stick with killzone 2 for a day 1 purc...
This is embaressing tbh. I'm looking frwd to KZ2 as much as everyone else, but this comparison is nothing more than to cause flaming. Everyone knows killzone is the better graphical game. I mean at it's time halo 3's selling point wasn't its graphics and this is a game thats well over a year old! So whats the point in comparing them?? so you can say 'look a ps3 exclusive has better graphics than a 360 exlcusive'

actually i just had a look myself and as you knife you can see the characters other hand move clearly holding his gun in his hand. In all fairness i played through so many times and never picked up on it so like i said in my previous post, if these are the sorta problems making headlines then kz2 should be an amazing game
kinda pointless me saying as well but yes, this date is simply saying it will be released some time in 09 (but even that is only Best buys assumption at this moment in time with what info they can go off)
