i will purchase a wiiu when its super cheap. no more than £80. that way its no big loss knowing i own a door stop that doubles as a games console.

kickstarter is just another way they are exploiting gamers. gamers must be seen as such suckers. i mean, if kickstarter existed before the internet, it would have been an advert in a games magazing saying ''if you want us to make *INSERT GAME TITLE*, please send £30 in an envelope to this address ...''

lame.

yes its fantastic shenmue is finally getting the sequel we all want, but why do we also have to fund its production? the entire univ...

i dont think the nx will be a hit because nintendo are stubborn and dont learn from mistakes.

yet again, nintendo wont secure support from third parties to bring the most important franchises gamers want. gamers want variety, and will choose which ever console offers the most, its as simple as that. as long as nintendo are only interested in their own and 2nd party studio games, they will never succeed.

i think the damage is done with nintendo now, because t...

you are right, nintendo are very selfish, they only care about promoting their own games, and any games they have a hand in. they are so arrogant they dont seem to realise promoting other companies games will be helping them too.

thei e3 would have been so much better if they included 3rd party games... it would have at least beefed up the presentation.

instead the only thing worth talking about was a starfox game that looked like it was produced on a gamec...

its a good idea licensing IPs out to other devs, but nintendo are doing it all wrong.

why did they let Platinum make starfox? yes, platinum are great, but at what they do- action hack and slash! platinum would have been a better choice for a metroid action game, or zelda, but instead they put zelda in the hands of temco to produce hyrule warriors. what next, EA making f zero?

starfox assault was made by namco, which made sense since they make ace combat games...

''Miyamoto says Star Fox Zero’s style was made with a purpose, games look the same these day''

what utter BS. the game is obviously made on a very low budget and with the emphasis on putting as little investment in, and getting maximum profit out. i have said it time and time again but it has been an obvious shift in nintendo's attitude towards its tech and software. i mean, the new super mario bros series is also another game made with this 'economic...

i highly doubt nintendo massed produced a product without fully grasping the cost before hand. they knew how much they wanted it to retail for, and it was purposefully overpriced because they anticipated it would be a runaway success like the wii... of course, they were wrong.

even today the wiiu is too expensive. why would anyone pay 1 penny over £100 for retro technology. i personally refuse to pay over 80

another day and one less reason to own a wiiu

but in all honesty, the game will be redundant on other systems that have the likes of resident evil anyway.

why would anyone want this game now?

you conveniently omitted metal gear solid, last guardian and uncharted.

prior to e3, if anyone would have suggested we would get a ff7 remake AND shenmue 3, you would think it was april fools day.

you should give credit where it is due- for me, sony put my faith back in gaming this e3. and i didnt even watch their conference! just hearing the news of the games coming is enough to excite me.

we should also not hold back on criticism or be bli...

im glad the stock dropped, maybe they will learn.

post e3 is supposed to be an exciting time where we talk about all the amazing things we saw and all we have to look forward to. and that is the feeling i get when i look at the ps4/x1 pages. but for nintendo fans, we got nothing. literally, nothing but disappointment and fear that it may be the start of the ending.

and @ciny-rella, you are right, the nx will be no different, nintendo will continue their trend...

because they only showed it last time to trick people into buying wiius.

why could they not have shown some more of the game? at least it would keep peoples interest and give the message its still very much happening.

the way they didnt show it at all is odd. nintendo are bizarre.

the game has to be for nx. in fact i would say its a dead cert its for nx. they will wait until next e3 to push the title for the nx, giving people a major reason...

they all need firing. this new nintendo sucks.

ive become accustomed to disappointment from nintendo the last few years, but this e3 really drove home a harsh reality- nintendo have completely fallen off.

its not debatable now, its clear for everyone to see

watching nintendos e3 was like watching them commit commercial suicide

i think nintendo doesnt even want to compete anymore, its almost as if they have admitted defeat and are happy to take their 3rd place in the market.

everything nintendo is doing is scaled back- neither the hardware or software is trying to be on par with the competition, nintendo are just doing their own thing... and while that would be fine if they were doing something exciting, instead they are creating their own lane for horrible mini game collections, party games and sub...

the ps4 has gone up 1000% in my estimation. in one show (that i didnt even watch, by the way) they announced

final fantasy 7 remake

last guardian

shenmue 3

it really is truly exciting to be a gamer knowing these are coming

nintendos e3 showing was pathetic. it was an embarrassment to themselves, an insult to all the fans, and a harsh wake up call to all those who still believed nintendo had what it takes.

starfox was the most exciting thing they showed, and truthfully, it was underwhelming. it looks like it has had its soul wrenched out, just like the new super mario bros series of games. no artistic flair, no effort to make it stand out... its merely functional. screams economic.

this years e3 for nintendo was an unmitigated disaster. they failed spectacularly in every aspect. what incentive did they give people to buy a wiiu? what hope did they give to current wiiu owners that there would be great games in the pipeline? really, the answer is none. nintendos event was a failure.

prior to the show i had little to no interest in the ps4. now my interest has sky-rocketed. that is a success for sony. and i guarantee you, current ps4 owners will be over-j...
