first and foremost it needs to be a games console for everyone, not just for nintendo games. the wiiu proved that nintendo cant succeed on the strength of its own games or fans... nintendo need to get with the program and realise in order to win a wider audience you need third party support to deliver diverse content.

lmao its funny because nintendo have been fully supporting the wiiu right from its launch, but nintendos idea of support is leaving it to rot on the store shelves for months on end with next to no support. so hearing they will continue that support is hardly comforting news.
as a nintendo fan, its really frustrating to watch nintendo plough on ahead down a path that isnt exciting. at all.
i suspect there is a reason why the new metroid looks as appalling as it does- i think they made it in this way to make it easy to use as a mobile game once they reveal what their horrible plans are for that.

it was an exciting time right at the beginning of the wiius life because anything was possible. nintendo could have done so many things with it. i remember when wind waker hd came out, people speculated that nintendo would do similar hd updates of other games, such as mario sunshine...

i think the wiiu has been ditched already. in fact e3 confirmed this. nintendo ARE killing off the wiiu and will get by until the NX arrives quite easily by focusing their efforts on 3DS and amiibo- e3 also confirmed this.
