the revealing thing is, most of the nintendo fans were saying how amazing the game looked, and were defending it when other nintendo fans such as myself were saying actually, it doesnt look good.

they were defending the game even though 90percent of journalists who actually played the game said it sucked and was broken.

they were actually willing to purchase the broken, rubbish looking game had nintendo released it next month.

im so glad nin...

''What I Want To See From A New Wii U GamePad''

i do not want to see a tablet gamepad. just a traditional controller

im hoping and praying they use the time to make it look the part.

i criticised this game many times recently and now those criticisms dont seem unreasonable since it has practically been put back a year. people are so quick to say a game looks fantastic, even when this game quite clearly wasnt cutting it.

now there is no disputing, since it has been put back. hopefully when it resurfaces, it will be up to the high standard we all expect for such a legendary ...

who decides what is boring? its subjective.

i would make sparse stages that try to give the player a feeling of isolation, or long stages to build tension and suspense. if that is my vision for a mario stage, then that should be respected. to delete it because its 'boring' undermines the whole creative aspect.

if nintendo want to maintain creative control, why allow people to make their own stages at all?

nintendo really are absurd

they should have made it purely shoot em up. they should have pushed what you can do with starfox to the maximum, in true platinum style.

instead, what it looks like we are getting is a toned down, slowed down, gimmicky, newbie-friendly version of starfox

you know there is a problem when the control method comes at the expense of how the game is presented. its even worse that the previews point strongly towards the game being hampered, gameplay-wise by it... ...

@deafdani

so what you are saying is, its better to have a review with a positive bias, than a negative one?

all reviews will be bias in some way depending on the reviewers tastes. at least this reviewer was open enough to admit it.

they still gave it a respectable score. as i said, just add on a few points taking that into account. i mean, if a reviewer hates racing games but reviews grand tourismo, and still gives it a respectable score, th...

the review was always going to get a lower score because that particular reviewer has little to no interest in making games. he even stated it. but that is what a review is, someones point of view. maybe if they searched their office for a mario fan to write the review, then it would have had a positive bias.

i think its a good review because it isnt afraid to point out the negatives. if you are mature enough, you will take on board that the reviewer wasnt particularly into ...

that does what? tell the truth.

if you actually read the review, its very fair. metro (formally known as gamecentral/digitiser) have been around for a very long time and are highly respected among those in the know, they arent ones to pander to popular opinion, or jump on bandwagons, you can always guarantee an honest opinion, even if it is one you dont agree with.

i have bought many games on the strength of their reviews

@pookandpie

as the review says

''The other main difference from LittleBigPlanet is that there’s no attempt to widen the scope to allow for game styles beyond a standard 2D Super Mario platformer.''

maybe nothing, not even your desperate, overly optimistic fanboyism can help the game because it is simply bad on every level, from concept to execution.

noooooo there is still hope... please

the author is right, the game looks empty.

i remember zoness, it was hectic, wild, dangerous... this re-imagined zoness looks like a walk in the park.

all of what i have seen of this game looks dull and drab, as if it has had the soul wrenched out of it.

i suppose that is the consequence of nintendo giving the game to platinum to make, on what i think is an extremely low budget and with limited time. amounting to a game that looks little mo...

i hope nintendo go fully retro and make the NX in the style of the NES. Albeit, with a modern twist, just make it smaller. slot the cartridge in a front loading slot, and push it down.

maybe even make you blow in the cart to make it work

@gamingpro

i am probably a bigger starfox fan than you are.

i know everything there is to know about this game. but at this point, im not really interested in seeing more, since all the facts about this game have already been established at e3.

lets run through them, shall we?

most obvious being the barely functional graphics. it looks like it was made using an old gamecube engine. why force people to invest in technology and...

...i prefer the usa packaging.

...i like the artcard in the usa one. i have no use for posters. and you know the poster will be folded up, creased and rammed inside anyway. art cards are simply better.

i hope the art book is the same in both editions, the usa one looks sweet.

the truth is, they can do it, they simply dont want to.

the cost of producing them probably outweighs their projected sells. ie they wont make a profit.

its strictly a business decision.

using the old ''not being able to deliver versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game'' is blatant business talk too.

its not like they are going to say ''we are cancelling the games because we wont make a...
