Agreed. When they remastered and re-released Star Wars in 1997 for its 20th anniversary, nobody would have voted for it for Best Picture of 1997, because it wasn't a 1997 film. It was a 1977 film.
The Last of Us is a 2013 game. PERIOD. I didn't play it in 2013 because I didn't have a PS3. I have a PS4 and am playing it now, but no matter how much I love it, I can't call it the game of 2014. At best, I will have to go back and rethink my position that B...
I don't know anybody that would pay $100 for Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden 25, and Peggle 2 today. I would have last December, but not now. So I don't consider that $100 worth of content. I personally wouldn't pay $30 for that bundle today, even if I could trade them back in when I was done. I can see other people paying $30 for the bundle, just don't try to pass it off as $100 because that isn't happening.
Are you on PS4 or XB1? If PS4, let me know your PSN ID, and I'll send a friend request.
Absolutely. I have over 70,000 gamer score on Xbox, but just about all of it was single player. The only multiplayer I ever played was Brink, Mass Effect 3, a little bit of Madden 13, Titanfall, and on PS4 Killzone: Shadows Fall for about 3 weeks, and the Destiny Beta. I suppose Dark Souls 1 and 2, Need for Speed Rivals, and Watchdogs also had multiplayer kind of merged in with the single player experiences as well. In the seven years of having a 360, I might have added 5-10 people to my ...
I don't know what that means.
Raids sound interesting, but I don't know anybody besides me with a PS4 and only have 2 people on my friends list. Don't know that I will be able to gather 6 people for a raid to even try it.
Just waiting on Killzone: Mercenary and Dangannronpa. Hopefully they will make their way to PS+ soon. I actually bought the God of War collection for Vita. That has been my only cartridge purchase in over a year.
If you like puzzle/platformers, Fez is awesome. It is well worth playing. The creator of the game at best can be described as tempermental, but I wouldn't let that make you miss out on a gem.
Honestly, Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked is a FAR better deal. You get 20% off all games for every system (including games already on sale), extra 10% on trade ins, and you quickly get rewards due to double points for both purchases and trade ins.
I was able to get two years of it at the cost of 1 year EA subscription price ($30), which is no longer available, but if you time it right, you can still get two years GCU for the price of two years EA service. And even with no ...
I believe the answer to that is no. You must be connected to their servers to play any part of Destiny.
Didn't have a PS3, but have a PS4.Heard so much good thing about this game, and managed to avoid the spoilers. I can't wait for it to get here. Hopefully it arrives today, but might have to wait until tomorrow.
Actually, when I read that part of the comment, I didn't connect it to the Xbox having to wait a year. The 2 DLC packs won't take a year for either system that I know of. Both Xbox and PS should be getting The Dark Below and The House of Wolves around the same time. The Xbox owners will have to wait for the exclusive content (1 strike mission, 1 crucible arena, 1 armor for each class, and 2 guns), but that isn't that big a deal.
@archangelMike,
That is almost word for word what I was going to say, so I will just give you a 'Well said!'
I have both a PS4 and XB1
I am keeping an eye on Scalebound, but I really have no idea what to think. I basically ignore CG trailers at this point.
As for all this other stuff, I really don't care about Halo, Forza Horizon 2, Crackdown 3, or Quantum Break. I am interested in Sunset Overdrive and Ori, though. I am super pumped for Bloodbourne on PS4 and looking forward to The Order, but for the most part, the multi-plat games have captured my attention ...
Interesting. But with HDMI only, how will they have audio output instead hdmi to prevent audio lag? The game won't work right with audio delay.
@vikingland1
What level you are does not determine if you did the strike. You could hit the level 8 cap and not do the strike. If you do the mission Devil's Lair, you did the strike mission. There is only one, and you can choose to do the level 6 version or the level 8 version. You will know you did it (* Do I really need a spiler warning here!?!?) if you remember doing a mission where you had to fend off three waves of really tough enemies while your ghost tried to...
Isn't it almost time for the August lineup for PS+? Why are we getting news about July?
I definitely got the medic badge during the Strike...it was during the time where your ghost was trying to open the three mesh doors. Both of my partners were down, and I was the only one left. I revived them both and the medic badge popped up. I thought I got another one during the strike as well, but I don't remember what it was. I get a ton of badges during the crucible for various things. (heating up, back in the game, double kill, etc.)
The fusion gun felt different. You have to hold down the trigger for a second or so while it charges, then unleashes a blast of energy. The one I had was damaging enemies like a shotgun at close range, but had longer range and more ammo. Of course, holding in the trigger made it hard to hit vandals and wizards at long range because of how quickly they moved. But at least it was different.
Rather than complaining, can't the Sony fans just say 'Congrats to the XB1 owners. Enjoy it. I'll enjoy Uncharted 4, Bloodbourne, The Order, etc.'
Last gen, I had a 360, but no PS3. I never got to play Uncharted, The Last of Us, Journey, etc. I didn't get angry. I played the games available to 360. If I wanted them bad enough, I would have bought a PS3.
This gen, I bought both, so now I don't really have to worry. But ga...
