I only played it one time, and will admit I was confused because I had little idea what was going on or what I was even supposed to do, but it did absolutely nothing for me. For the folks that like it, enjoy, but I have no desire to try a second game.
No. There are no perfect video games. That is a really silly headline.
Speaking of Thorn, I am on the bounty to get Thorn, and I am at the part where I have to Kill Xyor. Does anyone know how long this mission takes? I want to do it, but the one place I looked for information about that bounty said it took several hours to defeat him. If that is the case, it just isn't worth it to me.
This was absolutely necessary for PvE. I have a legendary scout rifle, completely built up, and it was worthless in the crucible. Even in the iron banner against lower level characters, it would lose out to those with autorifles, which fired faster, had just as good range, and dealed out more damage. Plus for some reason, even with the add-on that will stagger when it hits, the people in the crucible don't seem to get staggered when they get hit (I hope they fix that too). Hopefully, ...
I tried the demo for FOrza Horizon 2, and didn't get hooked. Today, I'll try the PS+ edition of DC and see if I like it any better. For some reason, I have liked the last several Need For Speed games a lot, and I loved Split Second, but have never been in to Forza and have never looked to go out of my way on DC either. Actually, The Crew looks to be most up my alley of this year's racers, but I didn't get in to the console beta (and I tried for both consoles) so I don't...
I somehow forgot to mention Bloodborne, too, which (along with maybe The Division) is probably my most anticipated game, period.
I don't know how you can have the Last Guardian on the list when you admit it hasn't been announced. Same as the quantic dream mystery project, when you don't have any idea what it is.
There are a bunch of awesome exclusives coming though. Personally looking forward to The Witness, Galak-Z, The Order: 1866, Rime, Abzu, Everyone's Gone to Rapture, and Uncharted 4. I have heard good things about Journey, No Man's Sky, and Papers Please so I want to try th...
I am only an hour or so in, but I won't read the article. I did read the intro above, and I will agree that I do feel very disoriented at the beginning, and I did die once, but what happened with the kill was actually pretty cool (*might be a spoiler, not sure, but the orc captain that killed me came back later and talked about how happy he was that he gets a chance to kill me again, but this time I was beating him, and then he ran away, and I get the feeling I will see him again down th...
I am in a similar boat, and have been frustrated, but apparently not to your level. I put in around 100 hours, and just got my first purple gun yesterday, let alone an exotic weapon. I got the purple gun from making level 3 of future war cult. I am level 27 and have purple armor in every slot, and the exotic radar helmet for my helmet. However, my purple armors need ascendant shards that I just don't have. I spent all of my crucible marks on the purples I have. I only have a couple ...
Good luck finding one to pre-order.
I agree that Forza Horizon will get a better reception than the crew and better ratings, but there is something about FH2 that just is leaving me flat. I tried the demo, and the graphics look great, but the whole premise of the concerts and music really wasn't for me. The crew looks more like a game I want than FH2, but I will probably wind up in the minority.
I have both systems and got it for PS4. It is single player only, and has extra content for PS4 that isn't in XB1, so thats how I went. I'll probably go the other way for Dragon Age and get it for XB1 since it has extras for Microsoft, and has multiplayer.
That sounds like it was the reveal that they aired at Summerslam in August, not a new reveal.
Great...I am a hunter who signed up with the Future War Cult. I was just getting close to being able to buy my first piece of legendary armor. I am rank 1 and halfway to 2. I'll have to switch to a different group, I guess. I really wanted the intelligence/discipline combo, but I suppose I could go intelligence/strength.
Personally, I am expecting there to be a borderlands pre-sequel re-mastered on the new gen consoles.
This was the first time I have actually taken note of Battleborn. For some reason, my impression of what it would play like was very different than what I saw in this demo. The demo looked pretty cool. Not one of my must-haves, but worth keeping an eye on.
I won't click on the article because of the headline, which looks like misleading clickbait.
I have both an XB1 and PS4. I really liked Titanfall, and played the heck out of it for about 4 or 5 weeks before I moved on to something else. I really haven't gone back since. Still, I don't play hardly any games for over a month, and I gave Titanfall an A-. Its big drawback was that it was MP only and there weren't even many MP modes. But it was a lot of fun, and played well.
I have Destiny, and I am really enjoying it as well. It is single player, mul...
I think Shadow of Mordoor is getting a lot of attention. Not Destiny or Call of Duty level attention, but it is getting a lot of coverage. If you watched Spike TV at E3, it was the very first game they showed, it was a cover story for Game Informer, and generally lets face it...Tolkein's Middle Earth draws attention.
I understand a lot of people didn't like Brink, but personally, I loved it (after the patch to fix lag). It is one of the few games I got 100% of the achievements, including DLC, and played it a ton.
And as far as marketing goes, they also gave it a public alpha and beta. If the game was just hype, we would have had the opportunity to find out. Enough people enjoyed what they played to know it was worth buying, not just the marketing.
I don't understand why you would think that Shadow of Mordor was a sleeper that surprised everyone. It was a cover story on Game Informer, was the very first game Spike showed on their E3 coverage, and is a game from Warner Bros. set in the Tolkein Universe. It might not have received Call of Duty or Destiny hype, but it certainly didn't come out of nowhere.
I do agree on Infamous. I am playing it now. I started it two days ago, and it says I am already 2/3 done. ...
