I am not going to say review scores mean nothing to me. I will say, if I am on the fence, I'll consider a review score. Usually, if I am really looking for a game, I will get it even with a bad review average. Alpha Protocol was the rare exception to this. I was really looking forward to it, but the reviews destroyed that game and I never got it. I didn't let the bad scores talk me out of Brink, and I wound up really enjoying it (at least after they patched it and fixed the lag)....
When the PS4 was first announced, Destiny was targeted as a spring 2014 release. The article is factually wrong when it says "Bungie's brand new sci-fi world has already captured the imaginations of the millions of gamers who participated in its alpha and beta versions. Since then, the game has been delayed until September 9th." The delay was long before the alpha and beta, not since then.
I would bet a lot of money that the 204683 does not mean Jarith. One way of solving the final puzzle is definitely using the mic, but you don't need to specifically say Jarith. Did he try doing the same thing, only whispering something else? I beat it the first time I plugged in a mi, after struggling for a long time without the mic, and I definitely didn't say Jarith.
Whether you are a Sony fan or an Xbox fan, lets be serious. The only way this game will end the Xbox is if it has a bug in it that bricks the console like Red Ring of Death. Other than that, it isn't of big enough scope to end Xbox, even if it doesn't sell a single unit.
I bought it after the demo and enjoyed the game. I would say a 3 is wayyyy too low. Basically, if you are someone who looks for reasons to be offended, then don't buy the game. If you are someone who can handle offensive things without getting upset, this is a fun rail shooter game, and deserves about a B- or C+ the way I grade things.
If you are going to ask if it is the best reveal in the last decade, don't you need something to compare it to? I haven't seen the article or anyone give what was they thought was the best reveal other than this. If no one even has a best prior to this, then I guess it has to be.
Personally, I would have gone with Dead Island. It might not have been the best game when it came out, but the reveal was amazing...the music, the backwards scenes, the forward scenes, the...
I preordered the Ghost edition for PS4 from Bestbuy, and so far, the order is still good and hasn't been canceled. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I was really surprised when I saw Papers Please was coming to PS4. That had PC only written all over it. I found that a lot more surprising than another Walking Dead game.
Also, I am not sure about including the Kojima box bit as a surprise, as it is not a surprise in the sense of a new game or announcement, just a surprise that Kojima would spend his PS4 stage time talking about a mechanic that I found to be utterly stupid, but that is just my opinion.

I tried looking at the wall over the phone, and I hear the creepy breathing, but that is it. Tried another 20 minutes, but stuck in the hall. Once again, creepy and atmospheric became frustrating and bored.
Here is why I will play Journey on the PS4: Because I've never played it before, and heard it was good from people I trust.

That happened to me, and I just quit and never came back. Thats kind of why I just don't see what others are seeing in P.T. I thought it was eerie and atmospheric when it started, but eventually I just got frustrated and bored with it.

I don't know about the whole game, but the teaser was pretty dull. It started off very eerie and atmospheric, but it just kept going in circles. Eventually, I ran out of things to do, got bored and quit out.
I don't like the term 'not needed'. It is not needed by the author. If someone hasn't played it, maybe they will need it or want it. However, I will say the market for a remastered sleeping dogs is probably very low. Of course I realize that. I dealt with it last generation. I wanted The Last Of Us. I wanted Journey. I wanted Demon's Souls. I wanted Uncharted.
