I am not a fan of evolve, and it is actually a game I am rooting against for a few different reasons (but I will skip that and stay on topic), but if we are going to be fair, I think the math above is off. Remember 5 people can be in the same launched game. I will be really surprised if it sold 1,000,000 copies, but lets imagine it did, if you figure all games included 5 different players, it would take 30 games per person to make 6 million games launched. The actual average would be somew...
I started playing it about 2 weeks ago. Other than someoccaisionalframe rate slowdowns and probably about 3 or 4 times where the game crashed and had to start over, I didn't see any significant performance issues. My problem is more the busted controls. The parkour often gets stuck, makes bad choices, and has problems entering windows/getting on ledges/ etc. Extremely frustrating, and I never had problems with older versions of Assassin's Creed like that.

I have both an Xbox One and a PS4, so I really don't have a dog in the hunt for system fanboyism. I was worried about The Order, and the reviews seem to bear out those worries. Still, at some point, I plan on buying The Order. For those saying it is the PS4 version of Ryse: If it is, I will be happy with The Order. Ryse was a game a waited a while to buy, but wound up enjoying for what it is. While certainly nothing earth-shattering, it was fun while I played it. I bought it for $2...
While there are several honorary mentions I would say, I will stick to the premise and only pick one. I will go with Braid. I saw it and expected a simple puzzle platformer, but it turned out to be so much more. I saw it as a true artistic vision more than any other game I had ever played. In the game, the actual mechanics of playing a game were used to make statements about life, love, and regret. Other games, use cutscenes and writing to make their statements. This game made you think...
I played Destiny pretty much daily until New Years. I didn't buy any new games after Destiny released until I got new games for Christmas...Dragon Age, Lords of the Fallen, Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls, The Crew, Assassin's Creed Unity, South Park, and Walking Dead Season 2. With all of those new games, I had too much other things to do, and haven't gone back to Destiny. I will probably go back to try the House of Wolves, but for the most part, I am done now. But it was fun while ...
I don't want to hopon rwitch..I don't want to see any more than I have already seen. I just want to know what people think of the game. I want my experience to be sight unseen. The only time I go on to twitch is to see games I have no interest in buying, but want to see how they look (very rare)
I am not pre-ordering, but anxious to hear word of mouth on this. As long as the word of mouth isn't terrible, I will buy it at some point. It looks beautiful, I just want to hear what people think of the game play and make sure it isn't buggy.
My son preordered it, and we both tried it and were very disappointed with it. He sold it back to best buy as used and got just about full price back. Still...worst game you've ever played? Gotta love hyperbole.
My honest opinion after playing the beta is that if this game were to be part of Xbox Games with Gold or PS+, I wouldn't bother to download it. For my style of play, it did nothing for me. If other people like it, more power to them, I hope they do, but I have no desire to try it again.
I have both a PS4 and XB1, and I got Blue Estate when it came out. It was a fun little game, but not worth $20. I don't have much faith in the kinect controls for it though. I do not find it precise enough, and it will probably make the game more frustrating than it should be.
I just beat Dragon Age on Sunday. I really enjoyed it, and now is when I have to decide if I should keep it or trade it in for something new. There are a few achievements I missed (finishing on hard and highest difficulty, killing all 10 dragons, making all tear 4 armor, fully upgrading a throne, enter the heart of the Solassan temple, and getting 10 agents, as I only got 9) I completed all of the inner circle requests, and most all of the side quests. I never even booted up multiplayer o...
I just started it this week. So far, I am enjoying it. I haven't encountered any bugs yet, and hopefully, they are all taken care of.
Once I finish Lords of the Fallen, I have Assassin's Creed Unity next, and I am hoping that one has all its bugs fixed, too.
Philip Bailey did sing great on that song, and Darryl Stuermer played a really cool guitar solo as well. Easily my favorite Phil Collins song.
I am buying Bloodborne for sure, and probably pre-ordering. I will eventually buy The Order this year as well, unless the word of mouth is awful. It doesn't need to be a day-one purchase, though. The order can probably wait for a good sale.
Clearly, none of you played 'Eye of the Beholder', a D&D dungeon crawler over 20 years ago. That had the worst ending of all time...far worse than the endings in this list. After killing the main bad guy, you got a 1 paragraph description of what happened, then the game cut out to DOS. I couldn't believe that was how they ended it!
I personally won't reward them for not coming out with the PS+ version by buying the full version. If they ever come out with the PS+ version and I like it maybe I will buy it. But we were promised a free version that never came, so no way now is the time for me to buy it.
I bought the game on day one for PS4, and I finished the campaign today. Most of the criticisms the author gives are valid, but I still give it a better score. I enjoyed my time with the game, despite its flaws (especially the multiball, and only using a few characters). But it was still fun, and look back fondly on my time playing it. I'd probably give it a 7.5 to an 8. It was a great concept, that had some flawed execution, but was still fun overall.
I played the beta on both PS4 and XB1, and I had mixed feelings on it. I think there is a semblance of something good there, but there were also lots of frustrating parts. It is set up like an RPG and MMO like, so you are building up your car, and it starts out weak. The handling was pretty rough, but I don't know if that will improve as you make your car better. I never figured out how to do any missions with other players (which I believe is the point of the game), so I had to do th...
I am definitely intrigued by this game, but haven't seen the price yet. If this is a $9.99 (and hopefully $7.99 with PS+) game this week, I'll pick it up. If it is $15 or $20, probably not. But I like pinball, and I like RPGs, and this looks cool.
I don't think it is supposedly going to be those two games. Those are just guesses based on release dates (although they may turn out to be correct). Sony has never made any kind of hint or assertion that those were the PS+ games that I know of. I will be really happy if Helldivers is one of the games though. That is for sure!
