I fully expect this to be a PS+ game no later than August. No information, just a hunch. I know it will mostly be the indie games, but at some point, they have to come through with another full release game.
I am switching from Xbox 360 this gen and original Xbox last gen to PS4 next gen, so I guess I am in that boat. But I do have a vita, and haven't had much issue with controlling it, so I think I'll do ok.
Link is bad, but if you go to usgamer.net, you can find the article.
Its amazing that there have been so many previews, and they had a live demo at PAX, and yet there still is no gameplay footage anywhere! Game sounds cool, but I want to see how it looks in action.
The whole "We're not ready for that, Too Soon!" comment is just ridiculously insulting, so MS who admittedly had bad messaging, is continuing with bad messaging just by saying that in the interview! Its not that I am or am not ready. You never gave me a good reason to switch! There still has not been a reasonable explanation of how family sharing would have worked, and all we got were the negatives, and you never gave us a positive.
I had the original Xbox on...
I think of the launch exclusives, it is the only one I would buy at launch (I may actually buy Killzone when it gets down to $20).
I am 360 this gen, but switching to PS4 next gen. The 360 really hasn't had any exclusives I've wanted for a few years, while PS3 has had a bunch that I would have loved to be able to play. I think there are pluses and minuses to both systems, including XB1 having a better launch lineup, but I think long term, PS4 will have more exclus...
I think the animation is bad in Ryse...very herky jerky from what I saw. But the graphics themelves look very good to me. I think the art is terrific, but the motion is a big problem.
While the Order trailer wasn't gameplay, it wasn't CGI, either. It was "In Engine". I would still like to see gameplay too, but it was not CGI.
For the record, Major Nelson praises Sony games that he likes. He was extremely complimentary to The Last of Us when it came out. He has never been shy about admitting he owns a PS3 and said he will get a PS4 when it comes out.
I played Witcher 2 on 360. Will be playing Witcher 3 on PS4. Unless they do something like a Dragon Age Keep, and lets you import your save to the keep, I don't know how I will get to keep my gold and inventory, along with my decisions.
I'm in the same boat. I wish it would come out for PS4, but it is an XB1 exclusive. If I get an XB1 down the road, it will be a must buy. I loved Dead Rising 1 and 2, and even loved Case Zero. I need to go back and play Case West at some point.
For those that read the headline and not the article...He was saying it is only possible on Xbox One compared to current gen. He didn't compare the XB1 to PS4 or say it couldn't be done on PS4. However, it is an XB1 exclusive so it won't be.
They also said they aren't using the cloud for this game, so this isn't a power of the cloud article. It was only about ram and raw horsepower of XB1 compared to current gen.
The Pulse Elite is $125 on Amazon. I've had it on my wishlist for Christmas for a while now...will probably get it after I get the PS4
This is one of the must buy indie-style games coming to PS4 in my eyes...the action looks intense, plus there is an actual story and characters...looks like a winner.
Is Resogun confirmed for PS+ in North America? I know the announced it at Gamescom, but I got the impression it was for Europe. I could be wrong though.
And technically, PS+ games aren't free...you have to pay for PS+
As long as the PVP is restricted to certain areas, I am fine with PvP. I don't want there to be gangs of high skilled players just waiting around to attack new players during their journey. I want co-op whenever I want, but the ability to restrict PvP if I don't feel like competing against other players.
I was going to say "Suck it, Trebeck" but changed my mind at the last second.
"What about actually importing your save games? We are continuing to investigate ways in which save files from previous games could be used to populate the initial world state of the Dragon Age Keep. We’ll provide more information on this in the months to come."
To all the N4Gers who gave me disagrees a few months ago and said it would never happen because Bioware didn't care enough, or it was too costly, or it was unreasonable, when I said it was possible Bioware ...
Geoff Keighley asked the director of Titanfall at the E3 if we will never see Titanfall on PS4, and the director very quickly said "We are only talking about launch right now." That told me all I need to know. Then again, I don't want Titanfall, because I don't like competitive multiplayer. I won't get it, but it sure looks nice.
While I am definitely ready for Next Gen and a PS4, I still haven't played Bioshock Infinite, so I need to get that in, plus I will still play Batman: Arkham Origins, Rocksmith 2014, and Dark Souls 2. So that is 4 games that will keep my 360 active. I have XBLG through the end of 2014, so I plan on having this gen's system plugged in for at least aanother year.
It looks like the article is from France (with an .fr extnsion) I'd cut them some slack.
