When the words "Exclusive" and "PS3" are right next to eachother, what do you think people are going to think? The article has been poorly labeled, that's not anyone's fault except the poster.
For some reason, I have heard more about the Uwe Boll movie than the actual Postal games. I get the feeling his influence probably will hurt the game in the long run, although as always, more games for more consoles is always a good thing.
Looking at their lineup, its no wonder. Remakes, re-releases, handheld games, and side-story games (FF:CC/ DQ:Swords/FF7:CC) not to mention upkeeping FF11, despite that its going nowhere, and its not very popular among FF fans. They've yet to release any next-gen rpgs, unless you count DQS, they're wasting tons of great licenses( Chrono obviously, and Ogre Battle) and the art style for most of their games has become very childish/anime-aphile, alienating western audiences.

They are owned by as many companies in the States as they are in Japan. If the game is good, it may see a port. if not, it won't. Its more of a problem that besides the darkstalker characters(and possibly disgaea).... most Americans have never heard of these characters.
It seems like no one here actually read the post. This is news to me, that Coded Arms was officially cancelled, but Konami has been pretty off and on about it. At the very least, we finally have an answer.

Well, we have to understand that Bioshock was indeed in production for the ps3 before it was "cancelled" last year. There may be pieces of that code that will be very useful in the port.
2008 doesn't seem like a great candidate, atleast so far, as THE BEST YEAR OF ALL TIME like this guy seems to think it is. Considering that a lot of the big hitter games aren't coming until next year (FF13, God of War, Gran Turismo, Killzone) we don't have a clue what Nintendo has for us, probably not a big Mario or Zelda game, and tons of games, like Resident Evil, White Knight Chronicles, Halo Wars, Starcraft 2, and so on are very likely to be delayed to 2009, its hard to say its going to b...
Chill dude. Everyone is allowed an opinion. Most people think Sony has a good 2008 lineup, don't worry about it, you'll play the games you want, ps3 owners will play their games. Not a big deal.
Just because this list doesn't talk about other games doesn't mean they aren't coming. Do you seriously do that little research? Ps3 exclusive racing- Motorstorm, Ridge Racer, Formula One; M2, GT5 on their way.
What else... Tekken 6, Valkyrie Chronicles, Siren, Disgaea 3, Mist of Chaos, Noby Noby Boy, if you really needed some very different games.

Anime based games are a more niche category. The average gamer that doesn't watch the show won't buy it. Not to say its bad, or the fans won't love it, its just a license that has its selective group and doesn't have a huge appeal to non-fans.
In the past, they downright denied it. Now, they're saying no comment. Hmmm.....
Every gamer gets to play every game. Sounds good to me. The only hitch is if companies port instead of building from the ground up, but all the big publishers know better for the big games. Besides Orange Box, which is a special situation, I can't think of any big games that got messed up by being multiplatform.
Its a biased article when you only point out the goods, and completely ignore the bad. Seriously, talking about Sony's online and forgetting to mention home is just ridiculous. He makes a lot of the usual points, the 360 has good games, it has good online. Yes, that's all good and true, genji tales of the blade isn't quite as good as Gears of War, but haven't we heard all of these points before?

I doubt anyone will disagree with Goldeneye and a few other gems on the list, but I wish there were more games on the list from the last decade. Incredible Hulk, for example. Oh, and for them to skip over Knights of the Old Republic completely seems wayyyy harsh.
