And no one is talking about Resistance 2? When was the last time insomniac made a bad game?
unanimous wouldn't describe the descision. Arguable GOTY, sure, but unanimous would mean everyone believed that, but between Orange Box, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Uncharted and a few others different reviewers gave different games GOTY.
As far as physics... since Half-Life 2 was on the xbox, and its physics were revolutionary at the time, its reasonable to think that the wii is capable of really good physics. Better than games on the 360 and ps3? We'll just...
Ever since Havok, physics have been pretty much in the bag already.
My opinions on the whole battle aside, you have to admit, he always gives gamers something to laugh about.
There is NO comment that is safe from disagrees. I bet you ten dollars that even this comment will get disagrees.

I'm surprised Sony hasn't announced a 40 gb GTA bundle yet for the states. 340 dollar console, plus gta would be an easy way to make huge hardware sales. Probably not quite cost effective yet I guess.
2 years is too long for the ps3 to be without an defense against achievements and a solid online system. It will already be 3 years into the 360's lifetime when it comes out. 3 years! I'm tired of all the delays. I'm a big sony fan, but I'm really starting to think that maybe 2008 isn't their year after all. Killzone/FF13/RE5/GT5/GoW3 aren't coming till 2009... all I can see are MGS, LBP, and Resistance this year for really big exclusives. What is sony spending all their money on anyway?
maybe F stands for flashlight? The video isn't loading for me, so I can't see it, but it seems reasonable that F would just stand for flashlight instead of the 'f' key. Games have used in game displays for so long, maybe they decided to do it a little differently?
Its really getting ridiculous how Microsoft is buying out all the companies that make rpgs. Tri-Ace, Eternal Sonata, Sakaguchi and now this? I can understand for a game like Bioshock, or Crackdown, but what does Microsoft have to gain from this? Its obviously not working, they aren't even touching the Japanese audiences, even with a huge hit like Lost Odyssey. Two years in a row the 360 will have rpg of the year with Mass Effect and LO (unless ofcourse Fallout of WKS can top it, but I'm start...
I honestly don't think PC Gaming's decline could be considered "healthy".
Remember the old urban legend about Team Ninja overusing an xbox dev kit, and it enevitably burst into flames?
This is not like the Halo 3 launch. If you wanted Halo, you needed an Xbox. This time, gamers can make the choice. Extended warranty or not, a hassle is still going to be a hassle.
Some people didn't survive the tradition from 2D to 3D huh? I wonder if Valve will make it through Paralel Processing....
Yes and no. While Square makes spinoff games and gaidens, and the like for the ds, psp and the Wii, as does Capcom, and a lot of companies... Where do the big games go? Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Call of Duty, Assasin's Creed, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Fallout... do I need more? Besides Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter, which are very japanese centered, and the cashcow sonic games, name one big name third-party series that has gone to the wii for its REAL(and numbe...
Considering how long it took, I'm surprised they even bothered. I was really hoping for all out, multi-player dragon battles, turning the sides of a battle against another player with more variety, but I guess this is the best we're going to get. I'll probably gamefly it again in a year or two once I've made my peace with the controls.
Floating head doctor anyone?
The problem isn't that we are using fossil fuels. Its that we've made absolutely no effort to get off them and that we'll inevitably run out.
If only one got loose, it could be disastrous. What if they walked right into the white house?
Since when is two years considered "rushing a game"? especially considering how much of the game engine they can re-use, this arguement makes no sense. I'd understand trying to make a game from the ground up in two years, but Epic has UE3 down by now, right?
I don't know if you noticed, but GTA is pretty big news. Mentioning the place with the best deal on it sounds like something gamers would want to hear about.
Actually, Nintendo is in a way going the right way about it with the wii and ds. When the market is oversaturated with their games and consoles, they won't have piles and piles of consoles shipping to retailers. This might be a good explanation why they haven't ramped up console production, to prevent a crash like that. With demand high and production low, they're not going to crash.
