I want dumb useless tradable bling that I can loot off of bodies and buy from vending machines so I can dress my character up like a freaking @$$hole or so a whole team of guys playing coop regularly can have a uniform. That dress up crap made Saints Row a lot of fun so why not add it to Borderlands? Make it purely cosmetic.

Bloody Palace is just a survival dungeon mode. It's single player. Paper Mario had one too Hell, most Roguelikes work that way. Climax Landers worked that way.
It's not a coop mode with waves in an FPS/TPS.
The first example of that I can think of is the Unreal 2K4 mode where you fight waves of enemies from Unreal. There are probably some others though.

Ummm, combustion hellfire, ANY rapid-fire rate shotgun with explosive effect, pestilant defiler...a powered up blood wing. Mirv grenades with Brick's explosive boost perks. Sledge's Shotgun with that silly squat and shoot launcher trick...
