My problem with Duke is not that it is old fashioned(it's really not! It's incoherent!), crude, or childish. It's just not very fun. It's full of boring filler/padding (RC car racing, turrets, trucks, crane rides) and the actual shooting is very mediocre. Most of it takes place in arenas or tunnels against limited numbers of opponents who fight rather stupidly.

AAA is nothing but an indicator that the production and marketing budget allocated by the publisher was fairly high. Collections are NOT AAA. They are (usually) budget rereleases with some minor tweaks. Halo CE: Anniversary may be an exception given that it has an entirely new graphics engine that runs on top of the original but collections and HD remastered last-gen collections are budget titles. They don't cost all that much to make or market.

I don't remember losing the save file if your mechwarrior was killed or having the mech stall and shut down if you didn't pilot it right (and I'm not talking about just shooting too much to build up heat).
