I bought Resistance 2 when it was new. I did it because Circuit City had a big gift card deal back then(since they've gone broke). That's the only reason I bought it new. What I'm going to do with this one is wait until it's $30 or less and buy it then. Or if I forget about it by then, I won't. Whatever. If that's what Insomniac wants then fine. There's plenty of other games out there.
The multiplayer is going to be more or less dead in about thre...
Being perceived as a fool by some clueless self important nerd on a video game forum is completely unimportant.
As I understand it the Wii U controller will NOT operate very far away from the console. So Clifford is potentially very wrong about the bathroom idea unless he's talking about an apartment or very small house where the bathroom is within 30 feet of the living room.
" WoW it looks great. my PS3 is going to be my weekend, im not going to be able to go out, all my money if for these games"
It's just concept art on a magazine-cover right now dude. Wait until the article comes out and there are some screens maybe?
It plays better than Fear 2 but then fear and fear 2 were never that great to begin with. The J-horror scares are now routine and still don't tie in with the actual shooting parts much. (well you eventually get to fight a shoot the weak spot monster but still...)
It can be fun to use the slow motion and sliding around effects, Paxton's telekinetic possession stuff adds a little bit of flavor if you want to play the levels again with a different set of offensive skills...
Industry stupidity, greed, and poor management of resources is mainly what hurts the industry.
Sometimes I wish there was a program where people in the US could just send their old games to Australians. Obviously region locking would cause some problems but Australia is the sad red headed step child of the gaming industry. The constant abuse and neglect by publishers and the stupid government age guidelines that cause everything to be turned into green blooded zombies or robots must be awfully annoying.
Lol. Move Heroes. WTH is that ?
If Nintendo doesn't want the money (jrpgs usually sell substantially more in the US than in Europe and Japan, even on Wii) they'd make, then fine.
And PETA getting a game banned? Banned by who? There is no legal mechanism for a state, local or the federal government banning sales of a game based on content in the US unless it is deemed obscene in the sense of pornography.
A boycott is possible but that is a private people refusing to buy something, ...
1.) Wear underwear It's like a sweat band for your junk.
2.) Shower at least every other day
3.) See a dermatologist if you have any skin conditions that don't quickly go away with over the counter products. They have more serious shit that really works on tough cases. Usually if you have extreme sweating down there it's a fungus/yeast problem and you have some variant the ol' jock itch. Or if you are female then they call it feminine itching....
Card was a really important sci-fi/fantasy writer when I was a kid, along with Stephen R. Donaldson, and Usula K. LeGuin.
Personally I read a lot of cheesy stuff at the junk end of the literary pool back then, like Jack Chalker, Alan Dean Foster, Lawrence Watt Evans, Raymond Feist, Anne MacAffrey, Lyndon Hardy, Hugh Cook, and (sadly) Michael Stackpole, Richard Knaack, R.A. Salvatore, Piers Anthony, and Margaret Weiss/Tracy Hickman. Terry Pratchett was also a favorite. And of ...
Exlcusives aren't really worth much if you name isn't Nintendo. Halo and GT are about it for Sony and MS.
And Onlive's Tech is patented and neither MS nor Sony have much real experience with low latency app streaming.
Reverse engineering that is not a trivial task.
I think Onlive will be fine if they can reach consumers.
Onlive doesn't have a $15 a month fee. It has newer games that you buy usually for $50 or less and can preorder upcoming for $45 usually with premiums like free games or a free microconsole included.
You can rent many games for three days for $3.99 or five days for $3.99.
Then if you want to "keep" it you pay for a full pass that lets you play as much as you want for as long as the game is on the service. Older games are usually $9.99 to $29.99 ...
Yep. But remember that from a consumer point of view "Quality" is a subjective perception that can be modified through word of mouth from peers, celebrity endorsement, marketing, and synergy with other products on the market.
Still the Uncharted 3 boosters are crying quality because they know damned well that they aren't likely to win in sales to they move to a less objective area like quality. They make silly comparisons that are supposed to show that popular...
" Uncharted 3 says hello."
Yeah, but it says it about 2 million units too quiet to be heard over Unreal 3.
Your judgement of visual features really sucks.
Uh huh. Tell it to Shadows of the Damned.
Stewart is a hyprocrite for using what he did to pillory the court while appearing in gory violent movies and on a network known for rather edgy content in their cartoons like Ugly Americans and Drawn together. That MK fatality he showed is essentially a 'shocking gory cartoon' that rewards a player who pulls off a finisher in MK correctly. It's also so stupidly over the top that it's funny to me. He naturally chose one where a masked guy is killing a woman to make it look &q...
"Sexy content" is generally not regulated as pornography. Full frontal nudity including genitals with no other discernible purpose than to make someone horny and no artistic value is the usual 'local community standards' definition applied to pornography. Even then pornography is legal, it is just subject to regulation it how it is presented, produced, and sold.
No, it's just as stupid and offensive when EA and THQ and other publishers do it. Sorry. But the thing is THIS article and comment section is about Insomniac, Sony, and Resistance 3 doing it. Nice try at deflecting the issue into some kind of 'Sony is the victim of a fanboy conspiarcy' rant though.
