Stealing is stealing regardless of the excuse or the intent. If the game is too expensive don't buy it but also don't steal it. For all of the strengths inherent to the PC platform it is just so disheartening to see its community infested with thieves and cheaters. For the PC gamers out there who support these creators and choose to o the right thing 100% of the time, I applaud you

The fact that this will be a single player only experience fills me with much elation. I don't mind MP in my games but I deplore the current short sighted trend of foregoing SP completely in favor of repetitive, lacking MP. If all goes well we should expect a compelling narrative and stunning set pieces.

I would suggest that we all stop going around in circles on this issue. There is no BEST choice. There is only YOUR choice. FUN=WIIU=X1=PS4=PS3=X360=PC=AT ARI=NES=... You wanna know why that equation is absolutely true for everyone? At any given moment in time, somewhere on this planet we are all having fun for the first time or the 1000th time on one or more of those platforms whether you like it or not. We cannot negate the experiences of others so having fun on an IPAD is as equally...

I agree. The hype is beyond reasonable for this game. I would suggest that we all temper our expectations.

Most disappointing for me.

1. Order 1886 - It may be one of the most beautiful interactive experiences on consoles to date but it isn't a very competent third person shooter. There is a great story underneath it all but the poor pacing, lackluster game play and abuse of cut scenes killed it for me.

2. Halo 5 - Halo without Master Chief is a travesty. In Halo 5 you get to play as MC but only for %20 of the game. That was enough to turn me off.

I've never played a BF game so I haven't a clue what was in iteration 2. This is the first time this franchise has ever been on my radar. I just feel that foregoing a campaign in such a perfectly replicated, visually striking Star Wars universe is a huge missed opportunity and an equally huge mistake. I also believe that charging $60 for multiplayer only is tantamount to selling a Big Mac without the patty for full price. Games such as this one and others (Rainbow 6, Evolve, Titan...

For me, the most egregious offense is the omission of a substantial, narrative driven single player experience. So much potential. So little content. Same ol' price. Biggest disappointment of the year.

I believe the only way to make that correlation is if there were separate metacritic scores for single player and multiplayer. You cannot come to any conclusions regarding the single player portion of the game when we don't know how heavily each individual score within the metacritic average is weighted towards single player or multiplayer. The water is too muddy.

The author also makes a big mistake when he makes the assumption that "a writer is likely to be impact...

I only argue that consoles, as PC like as they've become, are the simpler alternative. Put aside the "advantages" and look at it from a pure A to B perspective.

Consoles do not have graphic fidelity or frame rate options. There is only one output setting across every respective manufactured unit. Therefore, consoles do not have a minimum or maximum spec requirement to achieve x or y experience. There is never the question "can I even run x game?" o...

I appreciate both preferences. I have solely been a console gamer for 30 years now and I don't see that changing...ever. That doesn't mean that I haven't periodically envied the additional functionality and strengths that are inherent to the PC. What I don't envy are all of the additional, cumbersome, extraneous housekeeping activities outside of the gaming experience.

With that said I will concede that consoles are more PC like than ever before but as it s...

I know. Late reply. If you consider yourself a fan I would suggest you take off the rose tinted, koolaid glasses and take a critical gander at your beloved Nintendo. They are not in a good place and haven't been for a while.

For the WiiU, they are not announcing games that the larger consensus wants to play. They have next to no 3rd party support therefore leaving them with very few 3rd party announcements. They are not announcing or releasing enough first party co...

Please read what I wrote carefully. I don't care about the collectors' edition nor any of its superfluous digital or physical trinkets.

I've paid $95 to date for Destiny and its season pass. If I wanted to play TTK it would cost me an additional $40 bringing my total investment to $135. A brand new player gets everything on 09/15/15 for $60. That's my issue.

I don't mind being an early adopter but this just seems as if Bungie doesn...

Even though I would love free I don't think we need free. I think $20 is a fair price. I also believe that the prior dlcs should have been $10, at the most, a piece. Right now core, diehard, early adopters are at a huge disadvantage.

I'm sorry. Maybe I should've clarified. Nintendo doesn't announce games PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY. PERIOD. Thanks for catching that.

I admit that my prior comment may be more hyperbole than anything else but I do know one fact. Fanboys lack the ability to be critical of their love interests. Or is that just my opinion?

I'm not interested in the collectors edition nor the controversy surrounding it's pricing. What pisses me off the most is that first time buyers receive all of the content, including TTK, for $60 while veterans who've bought the prior dlcs will have to pay a total of $135 to be on par content wise. How effed up is that? I understand that early adoption comes at a premium but this is unscrupulous.

From what I've seen, Nintendo doesn't announce games. Period. This guy has been talking smack for a while now but has never backed it up. He needs to take a humble step back and survey the battlefield. Nintendo is not nor has it been for some considerable time, in a position to deride or ridicule the competition. Fix your crappy company first Regie before you start the crap talking.

If people feel as if they've been deceived then they should abstain from buying the game. It's that simple guys. For those of you that decided to pre-ordered this thing, pursue a refund and let this experience serve as lesson that paying for games in advance is not a very smart thing to do. Never trust a promise. Only trust the tangible. For everyone else involved, enjoy the game. It looks good to me. I'm going to give it a try.

Maybe I am way out of touch but I don't/can't see the racism in the clip provided on the website. It looks as if the author is taking what he said way out of context. It appears as if he is making fun of Gamergate. I didn't see any reference to minorities of any kind. I don't get it. Is this piece supposed to be satirical?

I own the game. As I said before, I find it enjoyable but the mainstream has a right to its reservations. For an interactive piece of entertainment it is a bit light on conventional interaction/game play. There is just a bit too much sightseeing and contextual button inputs. Aside from that the story is very interesting and the visual fidelity challenges anything currently available on PC. There is a lot of potential here for a sequel.

The Order deserves some if not a majority of the criticism it has received. There are pacing issues and the shooting mechanics and AI are mediocre. With that said, I still find the game enjoyable. The narrative is compelling and the enveloping universe is both rich and detailed. The visual fidelity is without rival on console. There is a lot of potential here for future iterations.

There is much to like about The Order but I will have to agree with the larger consensus t...
