IGN reviewed it on PC, only the reviewed platform is added as a tag. That tag is what makes it show up on the respective platform page.
I posted it above, it's 2nd place for GOTY imo.
Hmm, can I help you?
We do know why - because people have different tastes in games.
Also, ER scored higher, so at least from a reviewer's perspective, it was a better game.
This guy: https://assets2.rockpapersh...
I voted for ER for GOTY, it's just such a stand out new title compared to the rest.
If I had to stack rank them, I'd have them as follows:
1. ER
2. GOWR
3. Plague Tale
4. HFW
5. Xenoblade
6. Stray
I have a feeling that number will spike for the current quarter with a new COD release :P
"MS does not own Bethesda yet"
Huh? Bethesda became part of Microsoft over a year ago, almost 2 years ago now.
Well that was a surprise. Seems like the game is pretty good & is reviewing well - I wasn't too sure it was my kinda thing but I'll try it out.
That’s inaccurate and a long time false theory amongst gamers. MS has a Japanese company - MSKK - which can acquire Japanese entities.
In fact, they have done so - MS already owns Japanese businesses, including the studio Tango Gameworks.
The law you’re referring to covers national security such sectors as airplanes, military, telecoms, nuclear tech etc - games are not one of the 20 sectors named in the law.
The law also doesn’t outrigh...
Minecraft is still on PS.
Destiny 2 is still on Xbox.
It’s not impossible that COD stays on PS - they’d also be giving up a lot of revenue if they remove it.
I expect it to stay on PS - but Xbox and/or GamePass players will get perks.
Not that weird really - the game was already out on the platform, so no work required and if Sony are willing to pay MS for an old game - why not take their money?
It’s business and basically free money.
I’d say the weirder thing is that it isn’t in GamePass - but that could be some legacy licensing thing.
Nothing to desperately want at all. I've been clear time and time again that I think this deal should (and will) go through - and COD should (and will) stay on PS.
Yeah, this could open a huge can of worms for all the other things they've ruled upon in the past.
That's now how courts work. He is an employee of the same organization, and has direct contact with members who are undertaking this review.
"My Playstation" shows bias, and he's already stated the outcome of a case before the investigation occurs by stating "working to ensure that you will still be able to play Call of Duty on other consoles".
He's just handed Microsoft a huge win. Wonder how much they paid him for that :P...
@Cockney Sony doesn't have a first party studio capable of making a COD-like game - they said so themselves.
The only way I can see someone realistically filling that gap (if COD were removed from PS - I don't believe it will be), would be if BF went back to its roots, got the old creative team back and made something closer to a BF2 (or a BF2 remake).
That's a very high number of active users. It's crazy how well they've managed to turn things around after the WiiU.
I don't think it matters if he is involved with the unit or not - he will likely have contact with said people.
He has single handedly just handed Microsoft their biggest legal defense against any decision by the EU commission that they are not happy with. They will just point towards this guy and say "Look, the case was already decided before they'd even reviewed any evidence".
@Surgical I said buying PlayStation - not Sony.
That being said - you are wrong. Tencent is valued at multiple of Sony.
@darkrider And your statement is an opinion too.
People have different taste in games, and ER was hugely popular, so obviously there will be people who prefer it over GOWR for GOTY. That doesn't mean GOWR isn't a good game.
