So many good memories of the early pokemon games.
Nintendo has been quietly dominating the industry for years now with Switch. I don’t see why 2021 would be any different.
There are lots of good remasters/collections.
For example, lots of people had a 360/didn’t have a PS3 but switched to PS4 for gen 8 so having the uncharted collection and updated TLOU was a great idea.
MGS collection is great too.
Honestly, after all of the rumors from “insiders” about the Nintendo & Sony events being false - I’ve given up believing any of these rumors - just wait for the real event to take place - otherwise you’ll likely be disappointed.
This is overthinking it. It’s not related to buying DLC for a game tied to a PSN subscription - lots of games have that scenario.
It’s obviously to do with $$$ - likely Square wanting more for the PS5 version and Sony not coughing it up.
We hear this garbage about every new game near the launch of a new console.
If a game, 3-4 months into the generation, which looks as average (graphically) as Returnal, is pushing the limits of the console - Sony has a huge problem on their hands.
But it’s clear it isn’t pushing the limits.
If anything this just shows we don’t really need E3 and the standalone shows by platform holders are more than good enough.
I wonder if E3 will even make a return after COVID.
Huh? What has this got to do with Microsoft?
Sony, Microsoft & Nintendo all do this too - and long before Valve did. Epic still takes a hefty cut, just not 30%.
Platforms need money to exist. Building & maintaining the platform software/hardware, bandwidth, storage, etc all cost money.
More games should follow GOW and Halo and release when ready.
Sick of paying $60 (or now $70) for incomplete and/or broken games that either never get finished or take 6-12 months to be in a finished state.
Or because they’re a successful business and like any other successful business - they want to expand and grow their revenue.
Bill Gates has had nothing to do with Microsoft for a long time...
It may not impact XGS but it will have a huge impact on Xbox since Zenimax will be part of Xbox. That plus they’ve made good forward looking investments in XGS - just got to wait for them to come to fruition.
But at the end of the day, it won’t really matter to MS because Xbox is a Xbox - it doesn’t matter where Zenimax sits within the Xbox organization.
Realistically though, it will probably get merged into XGS at some point - once all the acquisition du...
But why would MS care? They are fine with you buying on PC.
It’s a win for them - previously they got nothing when you bought a Bethesda game on PC - now they get your $$$.
It was a disappointment if you set your expectations high, but it was clear that nothing huge was going to be announced here - and Sony said as much before the event.
The 'insiders' talking about a MGS and Silent Hill announcement were clearly wrong and such games would be reserved for a bigger event than a last minute State of Play...
Is there any hype for this game? It seems no one is really talking about it.
"Halo 6 story continues on from Halo 5".
Shocked I tell you.
Isn't this true for every developer/publisher in the lead up to E3?
Either way, I look forward to hearing what they are.
