@utopiancat Unlike yourself I praise all companies who do/produce good things for gamers. It’s obvious you just signed up here to try and argue with anyone who doesn’t agree with you or doesn’t fit your console war criteria. The zero submissions / attempted submissions + so many comments flagged / hidden as inappropriate on your profile sums it up perfectly.
@NealGamby Sony has acquired IP and developers before - as recently as Insomniac. It’s extremely common in this indus...
@utopiancat Well I apologize for not falling into your strictly defined console wars criteria.
I didn't realize I couldn't both praise (when they do well) and criticize (when they do wrong) all companies and had to pick one to support - my bad! /s
Page 20 of 21 has comments praising Nintendo & PS5 games. Selective reading.
Real gamers enjoy all games which are good/fun - not just those published by one brand.
It always amazes me what small teams / individuals can achieve with Unreal Engine 4. Even small 'tech demos' like this take a lot of time and effort to look this good.
@utopiancat "Did you already forget we can see your comment history?"
You're right, you only have to read about 2 posts up to find me heaping praise on both Nintendo and PlayStation.
"Heck, with the Switch + PS 1st party line up, a game pass from either company would be awesome"
That was hard to find. Like I said, I'm a fanboy yes, of all things gaming :)
Birkin is clearly a better villain than the Baker family.
I am definitely a fanboy - I'm a fanboy of Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, PC - and gaming all up. Hence the praise above for all of them.
Corporation sub organizations use revenue generated from other parts of their company all the time. What do you think was funding PS back in the PS3 days? It certainly wasn't the $599 one year late console... Or what about Nintendo during the WiiU era...
If you can't defend your statements, they can't be tha...
Competition is important, but let's be honest - buying Zenimax isn't going to crush Nintendo or Sony - and nothing Nintendo or Sony could possibly buy would crush Microsoft either. The industry is a lot stronger than that - none of these companies are going anywhere.
They aren't really pressuring the competition out - nothing is stopping Sony or Nintendo from making a game pass competitor (Heck, with the Switch + PS 1st party line up, a game pass from either com...
That's not how posting on the comments section of a website works. If you don't want replies, don't post.
Fixing links since the website parsed the bracket.

Size is at the bottom.
* Comes to an article about an interview with Phil Spencer *
* Gets annoyed when Phil Spencer gives an interview *
Also, since when have Microsoft been actively trying to kill Nintendo? They've worked together on multiple things and I doubt talking bad of a 25 year old console/controller which is no longer sold is the way to kill Nintendo. They're more so in direct competition with Sony than Nintendo.
You'd rather give up gaming than play great games just because MS bought them? That seems very extreme...
News flash for you... all corporations are out to make money, buy up the industry, and think the same as Microsoft.
Out of interest, How does buying game studios 'destroy the industry'? Surely more resources will help Bethesda and the industry.
Pretty cool video of their history.
Releasing sizzle reels on YouTube is propaganda? I guess every game company on the planet are propagandists then.
@SullysCigar So create a report saying it is lame. Comments section isn't the place to do that.
Anyway, the content is interesting given the events that have unfolded today, and we approve lots of Forbes articles here with opinionated titles.
This article is incorrect / fake. The actual size on Xbox is:
RE Village - 15.02GB ( https://www.microsoft.com/e...
RE:VERSE - 15.00 GB ( https://www.microsoft.com/e...
So 30.02GB vs 27.325GB - so 2.695gb difference, hardly 'half the size'.
I got it from the Xbox store - and they've corrected the size since. The actual size is:
RE Village - 15.02GB ( https://www.microsoft.com/e...
RE:VERSE - 15.00 GB ( https://www.microsoft.com/e...
"You are still paying and playing the same amount of gaming."
Hardly. Assuming you pay monthly with no discount... works out at $180 a year. That's less than 3 $70 games. I historically have bought a lot more than 3 games per year.
"Most of the games on gamepass will be 5 bucks on the market by the time you choose to play them. Sure you will also get to play a 70 dollar game on first day but in the long run it wont be the same type of q...
I play a lot of games, 3-4 MP ones regularly - and COD MW + BOCW + Warzone on it's own is already most of the drive...
For SP I rotate quite regularly as I get bored of one, and rotating between games is the only way to complete a lot of them for me (not everything is an Uncharted... but still fun in smaller portions). When that occurs, I have to uninstall and I have slow internet with a monthly data cap of 1tb (like most of America...) so doing so will eat time + easil...
I really hope for a return to its roots, a reboot. I've been playing through the originals on Xbox backwards compatibility and they are just awesome - the modern ones aren't even close.
@utopiancat You’re obsessed lol - and so obsessed with this console war of yours that you read too much into simple comments of praise.
“He makes fake impartial comments all the time! Every day!”... or maybe they’re just impartial comments and you’re viewing it through some console war obsessed lens :)
