This is kinda crazy, did not expect this at all.
Between this and Outriders, GP is getting insane... even more value and it was already great value.
GP also makes total sense for consumers for annual franchises like this. I don’t wanna pay $70 for Madden or MLB only for it to be outdated in a year - I would rather sub via GP.

It’s not lost - get an Xbox and run the PS1 emulator on it. How ironic that Xbox is now the only console where you can enjoy Sony’s awesome back catalog.

And you are entitled to your opinion. For me, with my Razer pad, gaming on XCloud etc is no different from gaming on Switch.
I'm enjoying both of them, a lot. There's some games I can play on the go that I never thought I would ever be able to play on a mobile device anytime soon. Just because you don't like it or aren't enjoying it doesn't invalidate others opinions.

Wrong. Only the initial release consoles had it, they dropped it with a revision to the PS3 Phat, and it wasn't due to low usage - it was due to cost. They had special hardware in the console for it and PS3 was crazy expensive at launch. And yes, people complained when it got removed & original launch PS3's still sell for a lot on eBay for that reason.

There’s a ton of good games being left behind. Just because I have new games doesn’t mean I don’t wanna replay the MGS series for example.
Of the three you listed...
Razer - supports cases if you remove/don’t attach the rubber inserts.
Gamesir - works with most cases, unless the case is abnormally shaped or sized.
The only one that doesn’t is the last one.
You also forgot to add the Razer junglecat which comes with a standard case.

That untrue though. Most switch style controllers either come with a phone case that you can use everyday (like a normal case) which just allows you to attach the controller pieces on the side, or the controller just grips onto your existing third party case.
And I dunno - most of the console games I play I wouldn’t like to play with touch controls to be honest.
My guess is they haven't done this just because getting reliable/predictable performance with emulation on PC where there's a billion hardware configurations is complicated. Easier to have it running on fixed hardware and streamed to the PC.
Just get one of the Switch style controllers - then it is no different from taking your Switch. Problem solved.

Games are going to stop coming to last-gen in the near future, some already have. Why should someone not be able to enjoy new games simply because they don't have a 4K tv? it's not like 1080p is unplayable.
So the rumors were factual... well this is sad, lots of good games just disappeared. I guess the physical versions will sky rocket in price on eBay now.

Except it's not... lots of games releasing today have fake HDR, and HDR TV ownership in the U.S. sits at around 31-35%...

HDR is definitely not the norm... and a lot of games don’t even do real HDR.
This game is clearly super well optimized when even PS5 and XSX are dropping to 1440p to hit 60Hz...

Current load times are around 2-5 seconds on PS5 on average. I haven’t seen any other devs disagree with me and say we’re going to get to 0 or 1 second times. My reasoning is that as assets get bigger and games get bigger / become “real” next gen games, load times will stay the same or go up but I’d say 5-10s total maximum on avg. If the asset jump for a game isn’t large, the SSD optimized code could balance it out and we’d see the same load time we havr toda...
But what console can run the SH1 disk?
And the PS3 HD collection doesn't include SH1 (and sadly, the versions of SH2/3 included are inferior versions when compared to the original SH2/3 on PS2).
