The 360 and PS3 are BOTH outselling their respective last-gen systems each year in terms of unit sales. And both started at significantly higher pricepoints. Stop accusing people of dillusion when you're simply driving your own credibility to the ground.
It's clear that people who have been playing games all along have either picked up a 360 or PS3, and that segment has never actually shrunk.
Most Wii gamers will eventually become more serious gamers.

I have plenty of friends who bought the Wii and are now "stuck" with it, and unable to upgrade to a PS3 or 360.
Nintendo did a good job "stealing" consumers away from Sony and MS, but to imply that Sony and MS somehow failed to grow and that Nintendo saved the industry from stagnation is... a wild misinterpretation of data.
What's suspect is your stubborness to see that the argument is not about us (the "whiners") not being able to play the game, but rather our ability to see that this will frustrate a large group of players.
My "skill" is not suspect, and my scores in EVERY GAME that I play prove it (that includes my MP score in KZ2). But unlike you, I refuse to hoarde all the fun by myself. I like SHARING the fun, and that means I know when I see a game that only dedicated vi...

I realize the boards are divided over this, but the fact of the matter is people are finding the game less enjoyable because of the controls.
I know I'll get some disagrees for this, but WKC was actually very disappointing for me too. I played it for a while, expecting to spend most of January on the game, but I ended up selling it because I... just couldn't stand it anymore (note: Xenogears is my fav. RPG of all time, so please don't accuse me of being anti-JRPG or something)

Is great. But you already have MGS4, so I recommend working on that until KZ2 comes out.
We might have a small "drought" around the summer, so you can always revisit those games when that happens.
And don't forget to buy them USED! Many of these games are now $35 on eBay now.
Being the ONLY online co-op game coming out in the first half of this year... (or potentially this entire year), I was really hoping this game would be better. But:
1) Did you guys actually TRY playing a co-op game online WITH A FRIEND? It is soooo poorly implemented that it goes right back to my blog claim that the Japanese are still clueless about how to make online games.

But apparently (according to friends who are in the dev. scene), the biggest obstacle is the PS3 Operating System itself (the XMB runs on top of this OS). The current OS isn't really designed for cross-application functions, and apparently that's what's making it virtually impossible to implement most things that people are asking for, namely private chat.
I have to admit; Microsoft had a huge advantage just for having the Windows OS know-how.

I thought Unreal Tournament ran very nicely on the PS3, and proves that the Unreal engine is quite feasible on the PS3.
The examples you cited are valid, too, but should be taken with a grain of salt, as they were older examples of Unreal-based PS3 titles. Yeah, I accidentally pressed the trigger at one point (but it was a random shot into air), and I was nervous the rest of the way through because I wasn't sure if that could interfere with the Trophy.
I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST doing Test of Faith on Hard.
Playing through it the second time on Hard, I was really glad that I had gotten it out of the way on normal, because a) the bullets hurt much more and b) the guards wear more armor (I think, I could be wrong).
