Don't get me wrong, I loved the last two maps, but the fact that the game is not well-designed for people who want to play together, these DLCs actually only hurt the KZ2 community.
Let me give an example...
After the Steel/Titanium pack came out, we were excited to play on those maps, but playing together had become even harder than before because:
1) Divided community: Not everyone buys the new maps. So only a small subset of games are played on the n...
Please... first amendment rights don't protect you from spreading misinformation. For both the PS1 and PS2, the first-gen (very very very first models) were THE BEST models. Not only were they the most stable, they also had features that were later cut in order to bring down costs:
- PS1: 1st-gen models came with on-board RCA and S-Video ports. Was also the easiest to "hack" (disc-swap).
- PS2: Remember the DVD region fallout at the very beginning? (whe...
"Retailers aren't allowed to advertise lower prices on consoles than MSRP set by the makers"
This is false.
The MAKERS can't lower the price below the MSRP. OTOH, the retailers are free to set the prices as they see fit. If the retailers don't lower it below the MSRP, it's because they don't want to (for whatever reason).
Not sure why everyone's giving this website a pass when it's stating 5-month old news as if it's some huge discovery.
People knew about this. There are plenty of youtube clips of this game. Heck, they call themselves a gaming site but can't afford to buy the game that's ALREADY OUT in ENGLISH (HK/Asian version)???
Seriously... try harder FFS.
You are quite a ways off in interpreting what I said.
1) I wasn't saying that it WILL be forward-compatible. I was just trying to explain how the next XBox would not be forward-compatible. Besides, that wasn't my definition. It is THE definition of the phrase:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
2) And regarding the forced migration issue... I never said MS was consistent in thei...
Do you even know what that means? It means that the 360 will be able to play the games made for the NEXT system. What you are talking about (i.e. upscaling of 360 games) is still considered backward-compatibility. And it has been done by both the PS2 and the PS3.
Try to understand what you are saying first.
Also, the reason why they discontinued the XBox1 are two-fold:
1) Unmanagable costs: The machine was too expensive to make. They used parts that...
Really?? You guys do realize that the voice alone will end up being around 2GB, right?
That's Resistance in a nutshell.
Except the all-female part of course.
@1.4 The reason why they don't separate the franchises is so that both "series" can benefit from the CoD brand-name. Or more bluntly put, so that regular gamers (who can't tell Treyarch from IW) will buy Treyarch's game.
@1.5 Both games DO have 24-month dev. cycles. See above.
Sounds like they're actually giving the players more choices than before!
Has this guy played WoW at all? Or better yet, Diablo 2??
Someone help me out here, but I thought this was how Blizzard always did their talent trees.
You get bubbles for your hard labor.
I had to help out the QA team one weekend to help them meet their deadline, and it was the most excruciating gaming experience I ever had. I don't care who you are, but videogame QA-ing is real "WORK".
Kudos. Now go spend those extra bubbles on some fanboy/trolls. ;)
Getting the Platinum was indeed commendable.
BUT, bragging about "world's first!" was not.
That was nicely put.
The 40 million Wii owners are quite unlike the 30 million PS3/360 owners.
Also... I really have a hard time considering games like Dead Space: Extraction and Resident Evil: UC as mature titles. Yes, they have those blood/gore elements, but at their core is yet another Time Crisis clone (or house of the dead). These point-and-shoot games are hardly "hardcore" or "mature" IMO.
Just ignore him. And I'm not being sarcastic here. They *are* real Japanese words, but the sentence makes no real sense.
(my post got added in the wrong place; i meant to reply to thread #10)
You clearly are missing out.
But at least you're blissful in your own ignorance.
By that logic, Floppy discs can hold HD content, too, right?
Because weak-minded quasi-gamers bought into the hype and poured the little cash they had on a system that wasn't to last long enough.
But if you think total sales alone is the sole indicator of who "won", then you're not seeing the whole picture.
Case in point, has the PS2 "beat" the Wii because it currently holds a 80 million unit lead over the Wii? You do know 120 million PS2s have been sold since launch, right? The smart answer is "no&q...
This makes me want to actually go out and buy the MAGAZINE!
Although... you're right, all you need to do is scan/print the back of the magazine. But still!
