A cessation of stupidity is an action with a positive effect, relative to the prior situation. Doing homework on time is expected of children, and they only don't due to failure to correctly arrange priorities. A school and a parent will reward a child for doing homework on time if the child's expected choice is to hand in late or never.
You may not agree with me here, but a school not putting a child in detention when homework is on time is actually rewarding him. The child ...
So we shouldn't be proud of them for waking up and realise they're spending unnecessarily? Surely you reward a child who refrains from coming home from school covered in mud? Or one who completes his homwork on time? These events are a cessation of stupidity which are rightfully rewarded, so why is the case different for companies?
EA are saving money which they can spend on other products, and trust me when I say that a fraction of the cash saved will undoubtedly go into othe...
That's fine for you then - there's no need to play a remake. A remake of seven would serve three purposes though:
1: Bringing new, young fans to the series by recreating games which hooked us many years ago. Currently, all of square enix's customers seem to be nostalgic people like myself and probably you, which isn't really a sustainable model.
2: so that people who started later than FF7, like myself, can play it in a form which isn't visually offensive b...
How on earth did this link get approved?
Totally agree with this. I imagine it like most parliaments - conservatives vs progressives, where one side dominating completely would create a harmful, extremist outcome.
The Assassins are chaos and the templars order, and balanced coexistence is the only future for the two orders. It would be interesting to see someone try and tread the line between assassin and templar without outright conforming to one organisation.
Much like the Witcher, where if you're forc...
Yes, but they wouldn't look anything like they did back when they came out in the nineties.
Everything would be grander and better, the music would have superior production values and the characters would be deeper.
They might even change small elements or even extend the games to keep them fresh, though this would need to be done very carefully.
I'd love to play a new 13 game if it was good, but given what we've seen in recent years, the chances a...
I hope they don't.
That company is going down the toilet and the only way they can save it is if they swallow their pride and remake VII, VIII and IX.
Only through bringing rediscovering what made these three games so popular can Square hope to repeat or even exceed their success in a new title.
This idea they have that they must first beat the success of VII before they remake it is absurd, as they won't beat its success until they've reengaged wi...
I don't get looked at as a prick when I talk of equal opportunity for women, as I know few people who look down on such views.
I disagree with genuine sexists, but I don't despise them.
I do get looked down on for engaging with sexists and trying to persuade them of my views rather than insulting them and socially isolating them.
I don't look at sexists, racists or homophobes as evil people who deserve social alienation, but rather as misguided people who ...
I actually believe it's crucial for gathering data that the internet remains a place where people can speak freely.
I personally would very much like to see women treated equally, and that is the reason I oppose this documentary. I want to see women treated equally where it matters, such as in the workplace, in public and in education. In order to achieve this though, we need some way to measure how people *really* feel about gender equality, because if we just force people to thi...
Yeah, that's actually the reason I shifted to PC gaming several years ago from console, but it just isn't the same as DLC.
With DLC you know you're getting canon material whereas mods aren't so.
The internet is the last bastion of true freedom where people are allowed to speak their minds without consequences.
I HOPE THIS PROJECT FAILS.
What a stupid article. The genre is SURVIVAL horror. How disappointing would it be if I spent 20 hours surviving the storyline and then got killed by some stupid thing right before the end credits?
As for killing them in the next game - the best kind of endings, as most people will agree with, are bittersweet, and don't anger you (see the reaction to Mass Effect 3 for an example of an ending with too much lemon, not enough sugar).
I like games which make me a lit...
They do matter.
Good gameplay can be bottlenecked by graphics.
The most important thing of all is creating something with good gameplay, and if this is achieved, then prettier graphics can only make the game better.
I just lost serious respect for Valve. This guy should have dealt with it.
Disappointments and offense are everywhere. I hated the ending of the last Starship Troopoers movie because of its Christian themes, and so it left me incredibly offended.
However, it probably left others incredibly happy. I can't just go asking for a refund when something offends me, as I could have asked around and done my research first. Not only that, but diverse opinion should be respected, even if it offends you to extremes.
True art will always be divisive....
Wolfenstein would make a LOT of sense
Barbed wire: icon of the world wars, commonly seen around the types of environments you encounter in Wolfenstein
Moonbeam trio: active between 1934 and 1945 according to another article
Beethoven: Very, very famous German composer (obviously).
There shouldn't really be any doubt.
I mean there's also the fact that it's a record which is playing (clearly 40'...
To be fair, I'm not all that excited for Fallout 4. I'd like to see something new from Bethesda using the Fallout/TES engine, perhaps set in space/the future, rather than endless sequels.
They should also make the story more personal too. Feeling like some super-mega hero where everything goes so well all the time can get boring.
This guy's probably going to be a meme.
No. The Mass Effect universe, like the Star Wars universe has a limitless number of stories. How about a game letting us know what happened after the chaos of ME3. As long as they set it far enough in advance, they maintain full creative freedom. They left the universe broken, which is not how I want my last memories of that galaxy to be.
