Where's Alan Wake?
I hope it actually works on PC this time. Dirt ran horrible on the PC, regardless of how fast your computer was. To top it all off, it used Starforce, which will have a lot PC gamers boycotting the game off the start.
I didn't really expect to see them, but the Penumbra franchise and the first Myst (1995) were great in my opinion.
Everyone using Windows is obviously some fat guy in a suit getting worked up over spreadsheets... a lot like those accurate commercials.
(sentimental sigh)
This only seems to confirm the game's content is the same.
The fact that some computer displays can run at over 1920x1080, use FSAA and/or AF for improved graphics, mouse and keyboard, more expensive and so on. Blah blah, same old console vs PC arguments.
"as a descend PC shouldn't have to much trouble and the console ports shouldn't suffer to bad. "
Even though it came for PC first, it was almost he other way around. I tried the 360 version and it seemed to run great, where even computers today struggle to play the game at high resolutions with any anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering applied. That's a bit of a shame considering the graphics engine is starting to show it's age a bit. The ratio of graphics, to performance to ...
Well "in theory", if the game is really good, wouldn't that just make it easier to mess up the movie? Standards and expectations will be high for this movie, rightfully so.
That kid is going to grow up to be a serial killer. No remorse.
Could be cool. Hopefully this will help the development come along too.
This is the mid-range card. The mid-range cards in any generation have always been affordable. The only thing different here is nVidia is releasing them before their high-end cards.
"...there is still the clear benefit to having the bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0 in this new edition to the GeForce 8 family..."
This line alone makes the website seem a bit amateur.
Video wasn't really anything special, hardly seems official. But come on, if I can end up lighting whole plains on fire, this could be pretty interesting. Game definitely looks like it has some fun features.
Time to start a petition?
I sure hope so.
I hope the level design is just as good and unique as the first too. Even though the school and farm levels were possibly the scariest and almost a pain, they're still my favorites.
I foresee a bundle of all three Halos. Or even worse, a book. I hope it is neither.
Looks incredibly cool. Very well done trailer too.
Yeah, looking pretty good. Never a big fan of the Star Wars games or even the movies. But, the visuals look great and even more importantly, it looks fun.
There were mutants in the first Far Cry. The main character, Jack Carver, also becomes infected.
Crysis was made by Crytek in Germany and Published by EA for America. Far Cry 2 is being made by Ubisoft. I don't think Crysis was planned to be episodic from the start, but they definitely made the decision before its final build. Crysis 2 and so forth was evident from this point on.
There really isn't that much cheating on the PC, just way too many people whine. If you stick to punkbuster servers (90% of the servers) you'll almost never encounter it.
