Clearly, some flawless logic right here.
Developers have been taking high resolution, PC rendered screenshots for exclusive console games for years now. Not just Epic people. Pretty pictures sell, especially considering it's not actually altering content.
People need to wake up and realize the resolution on your computer's desktop alone is probably higher than half of the game's on their console.
Just grab a no cd/dvd crack. They're not hard to find and it's not illegal if you bought the game.
It probably varies depending on the game. I could see it being possible on some. Although, my idea of "the most intensely pirated market ever" would be Hollywood and the music industry.
I don't know if Valve would care, as their system allows them to hardly deal with any piracy.
I didn't look up the rules myself but the article apparently quotes this from them:
"GPU make, type or driver version may not have a significant effect on the results of either of the CPU tests"
Sounds like a warning to those hoping to get boosts on their scores through drivers. Not to ATI & nVidia to not produce ground breaking drivers.
The only way I see it as cheating is if the PhysX processing being used on the card is doing nothing but...
Bubbles to Charmers for having the nerve to say that on a console-oriented website.
After playing user-created content for Crysis, you'll appreciate the optimization the single player game has. I have a hard time believing the game could even be optimized that much better if much at all.
You can easily fix the overheating issue with manually changing the fan speed with third party software before playing a game. I use Rivatuner for it.
The first five are in-engine. The last is not as the description under the image says, "Real-life pic of trees as a comparison (source: Wikipedia)."
Depends on whether or not the installation of the demo checks for and requires a HD 4000 card. Otherwise, you'll probably be free to try.
At least one of their servers crashed. All the others are taking a beating.
Personally, I fear the pyro update. When the medic update came, there were medics EVERYWHERE. That wasn't so bad, but holy god, imagine what it's going to be like with maps swarming with pyros. The only upside is that spies may seem to cease to exist. :)
The Q8x00s will run on the 45nm fabrication making them cheaper and cooler running.
Each item on the list should be Fanboys, to emphasis how annoying all of them are. It probably wouldn't be too hard to think of ten reasons to hate them either.
This game is becoming notorious fast. It's also been confirmed that it's stolen from Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Painkiller, Unreal Tournament 2003 & 2004, Morrowind and Oblivion. God knows what else people haven't spotted yet.
I didn't notice any speed improvements, but 10% might be too small for me to really notice even if it is there. Either way, I'm not complaining... I've had absolutely no trouble installing and haven't encountered a single conflict or system instability.
Maybe, but Infinity Ward and Activision definitely put a lot more work and support into their game than say... EA?
Strange how it's they call it a GPU. I know it's capable of graphics-related tasks, but I always thought it was meant more for calculations that a CPU does. I guess the cell in this case will be doing both the video and central processing for this laptop?
AI looks retarded. Oh well, still just as excited for it.
