Not to troll, but I doubt I'll be getting this one. Stopped picking up the Burnout games once I realized almost every single one is the same as the last except different landscapes with an added feature or gametype. I'm too cheap to keep shelling out 60 bucks for that.
Screenshots do look pretty, as the Burnout series always did look good, but EA is known for touching up photos now. It looks like a few of these have had some minor things done to them.
Habbo Hotel probably has a lot of security concerns from all frequent hate raids it gets. No surprise they flip out on anything. It is real money though.
I've been folding for over a year now, gotten a few hundred work units done, and I would really recommend it. It doesn't cause hang-ups at all while performing normal tasks in windows. While it can easily use all 100% of and CPU, the program is well written to let up on it perfectly if any single other program calls work upon the CPU. It might up your energy bill a tad, as well as add heat to any small room your computer might be in.

I have the Bravia A3000 now. The 1080p shown in the corner when you hit display is just the signal the TV is receiving. What is actually being shown could be different. A lot like how you could be watching HD ESPN in 720p. The commercials flowing in, between commercials, can easily be 480p. The TV will still show 720p in the corner as the signal is still coming in as 720p.

Myth - Pretty sure the only Sony's with those settings are the KDS-XBR1, 2, 5 (LCOS) and maybe the XBR3 LCD.

Exactly, that's why the TV shows 1080p. Upscaling to 1080p is far from the same as having true 1080p. God knows what the game really is just because your TV's signal is coming in as 1080p.
Not to bash Uncharted, but this doesn't mean anything. I'm NOT saying that Uncharted doesn't run in 1080p. I'm saying this is not proof. That info is being displayed from the TV, which is the Sony XBR2, I recognize the appearance. I would know because I had the XBR2. That number there, is whatever the 360 or PS3 is set to in the settings. For example, if I choose 1080p in my 360 settings and popped in Halo 3, it would still show 1080p despite the fact Halo 3 scenes are rendered in 640p.
Bio was still plenty useful for tossing charged goo at people. Primary fire was hard, but it's a lot easier in UT3. Which has me worried because some people definitely were able to make some good use of primary goo in UT2K4. I also felt plasma wasn't too bad because it works great down narrow hallways. Add three or more linkers with someone good out in front and you can easily have yourself a rape train.

We're still no where near photo realism, obviously. Look at CGI movies. They look great, but you can certainly tell they're not reality. Scenes in those movies can take days to render a single frame. Some talented people making 3D renders in real images with some photoshop skills are about as close as we can get today.

Both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 can do upscaling. Choosing 1080p in the settings for both the PS3 and 360 is what the consoles will do it's best to upscale to if the games are not already 1080p.

Hell yeah. More bubbles for you. While it gets a little less scary after you face your first few foes, Penumbra was incredible, even if it was a a fairly low budget. I'm pretty sure the first time I was stuck down there with that thing was the most scared I've ever been from a video game. I can't wait for Episode 2. I got some of my lady-friends to play it, and they were screaming before they even got to any enemies. Another wasn't willing to even try after seeing the main menu.

I don't think you need to worry. While these were taken on the computer, aided with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering, the PS3 version shouldn't be too far off at all. Should be quite capable of the game on what is the computer's equivalent of maximum settings.
