I loved the dust/fluid/smoke video. Imagine technology like that in Forza or Gran Turismo. I'd do nothing but drifting and power sliding all day.
Physics related stuff like this, is definitely not entirely possible in 10.
Glad I'm not the only one who knew they've seen this video before. Kotaku needs to be more careful instead of just finding really old CryEngine 2 demos and assuming it's CryEngine 3.
Not so fast, imagine all the confused and naive survivor players to gang up on as infected. Friday will be hilarious.
The GT300 might not, but imagine the generation after the GT300's. And there's always GT300 SLI...
The first downside that comes to mind is yet another standard change. I'd imagine it'd be rather hard for a new format to yet again come about, especially when the current market hasn't even fully embraced HD video in general. This would definitely have to be some years down the road.
Rumors are suggesting October or sometime near that, the last I heard. Just in time for Modern Warfare 2 :)
Ohhh I like the idea of the oil refinery shown towards the end. It looks more like an ocean oil drill rig to me, which could be a pretty sweet level. Probably feel like the first level from COD4.
PS3 has had my respect since announcement. It's fan base is a different story...
As much as I like Nvidia, I don't think these economic times are optimal for pushing out a new six-hundred-some dollar video card. Even if they were to make a card 40% faster than ATI's best, not too many people are going to care if it's $200 more. They should just keep the value market competitive with AMD/ATI.
Almost all FPS today seem like the generic "EA-style" shooter where there is minimal learning and difficulty. You want proof? Go find a copy of some of the earlier Ghost Recon games and then try GRAW.
At least we can still find games like this that doesn't have a learning curve of less than a week. Sorts-out the idiots and kids from the true gamers if you ask me.
Very true. I hope it stays pretty true to the previous installments, just improved graphics.
Most PC gamers don't care if they have to swap out more than one DVD, the install is the only time they ever handle disks at all. After that, you can forget about the disk(s) unless you ever need to reinstall.
Almost all PC games still don't need more than one DVD. Heck, Orange Box is the first game I've seen that needed two, and that fit four games on them. Steam games at that, which are much bigger and file intense than most games.
Unless some PS3-exclusive games ...
If you ask me, its news like this that makes the U.S. economy problems feel very real and troubling.
The tattoo's look like they were done with a black marker.
Or your genitals.
Why do you even bother evrfighter? N4G is primarily console gamers and they will defend them till they die. Telling them PC's have superior image quality is either a waste of money or complete nonsense to them.
Its time to chew ass and kick bubblegum and I'm all out of ass.
The article itself is a troll as far as I am concerned.
Pretty hard to believe. Midway may have had their license to UE3 for a while now, but they have yet to show that they can utilize the engine any better than the engines creator's: Epic Games.
#6 is kinda fail. There is nothing more annoying than girl gamers and girl clans setting out just to prove to men that they can play too and spout all kinds of feminist comments.
Nobody said you can't...except for maybe the 12-year-old screaming "LOLOLO GIRLZ SUX OMGASH". Just play the game, most men already worship the virtual ground you walk on.
