I don't know about the Diamond Edition but Neverwinter Nights is a free game on the PS4 (I would assume it is also free on the XB1).
The game IMHO is quite good and it is not overly difficult to get to level 50 although getting higher takes you allot longer. At level 60 the game really gets allot more challenging. It does have allot of microtransactions although you don't need to spend anything on "fluff" and you really don't need to grind (you can if ...
So you are not interested in online gaming and getting discounts on games?
Some of the flash sales can save you as much as 90% although the average appears to be around 40%. I have recently seen some AAA games at 50% off.
I actually saw the into to Stories and was intrigued but I had too many other games at the time to consider getting it.
@Christopher
I can guarantee that many people will disagree with what you perceive as a decent game although there will be some who will agree.
If you live in the USA the following is a breakdown for gaming genres in the ISA for 2015 https://www.statista.com/st... Yes I know the URL is a bit misleading.
In this case,...
How do you know they are trash?
Have you played them I know I haven't and I do like RPG's although I can be picky. Still, I will give them a go and if I don't like them I have not lost any money and I can still get the odd discount on selected games that I want and I have seen some AAA games being discounted by as much as 70%.over the last few months. Obviously if you don't check you will miss out.
I may come as a surprise to you but ther...
I do agree the heading of the article was a troll although to be fair the author may not have realized he was doing it.
Somehow I do think the author knew exactly what he was saying.
I do agree that the TW3 is a fantastic game however it is also a multi-platform game.
Now that Skyrim has come to the PS4 we could add that but it is multiplatform as well. Even after spending over 300 hours I am still finding new places and quests although I do have the PS3 Legendary Edition and with exception of the 6MB save bug (fix: turn off all auto-saves) it plays quite well.
It depends what genres you like. If you are heavily into FPS' s, Racing, Sport etc then TLoU may not be for you. As I have said before the best game is the one you like and I really did like Bloodborne although I really do need to "git bttr". Other people will have different opinions and that is fine too.
The trouble I have is that I have too many PS1, PS2, and PS4 games and while I do play the odd PS game for nostalgia purposes I still like playing some PS3 g...
The heading alone is purely designed for clicks. In fact, I would go as far as to say it is trolling.
IMHO the best game on the PS4 is the game you enjoy and to hell with other people's opinion.
I also have a large 55" 200Hz HDTV to game on, however I also have to share with my wife who is not a gamer so I usually end up gaming on my 24" IPS monitor which I don't mind doing since the colours on this monitor look really vivid.
Personally I have no intention of purchasing a PSVR until I have tried it in VR and cinema modes.
From what I can gather you can use the PSVR in cinema mode for normal games and you can even use it on the PC, PS3, XBox360, XB1, WiiU etc. http://www.playstationlifes...
I have not bought a PSVR yet since where I live they are sold out and I don't preorder.
I have no intention of buying a PSVR until I get a decent (ie. of 30 minutes) play on a demo one. If after that time I will be in the position to decide if I will buy one although only after it is available without preordering. Personally, I would rather get the PS4pro even though I already have a PS4.
As far as I am concerned the PS4pro is really good value for t...
My order was FF7, FF6, FF4, FF5, FF8 (missed FF9) FF10, FF10-2, FF12, FF13 and FF13-2.
IMHO FF13 and FF10 were basically on rails although that did not stop me enjoying both games (so shoot me I still liked FF13). All FF games have random encounters the exceptions to this were FF12 and FF13.
FF12 is the only single player FF games that you fight in exactly the same area you encounter the enemy and you can move your party around the combat area. All other...
I guess most of those action RPG's I played on the NES, SNES, Sega Megadrive, N64, GameCube, PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 must have been in my imagination.
If you are talking about PvP I guess most newer gamers could not handle games like the Souls series or Bloodborne since you can dodge, counter, parry, attack, take cover, etc. Oh! Wait, you have to "git gud" first.
There is nothing wrong with turn based, active turn based and action RPG's pr...
How does, Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age - Inquisition, Child of Light, Gravity Rush - Remastered, Neverwinter, Styx and Lords of the Fallen sound? They are the only the RPG games I have played on the PS4 to date.
If you wish to know what RPG's are on the PS1, PS2 and PS3 I suggest a Wiki since there are allot and many I have not even played yet.
BTW. I could mention Skyrim but I very much doubt I will get it for the PS4 since I have already s...
May I ask what you would classify games made by "From Software" are?
I will make it easy on you how about Zelda RPG's?
Sorry, I forgot the Metal Gear franchise, the original Resident evil games and how about Kingdom Hearts?
I think CD Projekt RED may take objection to have The Witcher 3 being called a Western RPG. After all, Poland is classified as an eastern European country on the Baltic Sea that is known for its medieval architecture and Jewish heritage.
So I take it that means you go out and purchase XBox360 games to play on your XB1. Of course, if you have the XBox360 game to begin with that is a great value add to be able to play it on your XB1.
I can play PS1, PS2 and PS3 games on my backward compatible PS3 and I can also play PS4 games on my PS4.
If I wish to play a PS1 or PS2 game that I don't have on my PS4 I can digitally download it or if I wish to play selective PS3 games on my PS4 (which I ...
I do occasionally read them for the beer and pretzels. 😉
@hiawa23
Well if you have money to burn why don't you get a 15TB SSD and you won't have to worry about external drives until next year. http://www.theverge.com/cir...
Actually, this drive would be really nice in the PS4pro where it would take advantage of the SATA3 bus (600MB/sec throughput).
