Err! Did your PC cost an RRP of $400 USD? No! I thought not.
I am curious, why would people expect Shadow of Mordor on PS4 Pro to be amazing? Sure the display may be rendered in 4K, possibly HDR supported and a more stable frame rate but the gameplay would be exactly the same.
These are the sort of articles expecting an old PS2 game that can be played on the PS4pro to be rendered in 4K (which it can) with possible HDR (ok maybe not) support and then expect the gameplay to be completely changed which it won't be. The most importa...
You can get a 15TB Samsung SSD for the internal disk on the PS4 but I do think the $10,000 USD price is a little bit too much for most people.
Filling up a 2TB HDD would require you to have over 39 AAA games each having 49GB each and assuming $60 USD each game that is $2340 USD so maybe you do have the money to purchase a massive SSD. 😉
If you like making and collecting videos you can easily offload them to an external drive.

Since Microsoft runs a version of Windows 10 on their XB1 they do have the means to collect data on each gamer's usage and preferences I would agree that it is possible that 50% of users have used the backward feature of the XB1.
That said it would be interesting to know out of all those users (assuming 12 million) how many would have played an XBox360 game, its name and for how long? Just because you may be curious to play a particular...
Backward compatibility is a great value added feature that will sell consoles but only at the start of a new console generation not two years into the generation.
I not saying BC is stupid for the XB1, in fact, it is a great feature but you really do have to ask how many people who originally purchased the XB1 at start up until Microsoft announced that they were going to allow owner's to play their old XBox360 games still had their original XBox360 games?
I can't really comment on FF15 since I have not played it although I have played the demo and while the graphics is really beautiful somehow I was put off by the gameplay and I am not sure why.
I have played all the FF games from 4 onwards (exception 9) and contrary to what some people think I actually liked FF13 although anyone saying they have to keep mashing the "X" button is not playing the game properly.
Unfortunately, I do have a massi...
The link is fixed but I do think the web designers on " http://m.gamerevolution.com... should go back to design school. That is not how you publish a web page.
If you play Uncharted - Drakes Fortune you can unlock the making of the game and the Naughty Dog developers appear to be on excellent terms with Insomniac developers and share ideas. It does help when the two companies are just down the road from each other.
Those words imply that Sony dictates to Naughty Dog. I think it is better to say "they (Naughty Dog) makes games that make the Playstation brand great".

Well said. I think the words "symbiotic relationship" sums it all up.

Folklore? I almost forgot about that. IMHO a more mature version of Pokemon and a surprisingly interesting story as told from two perspectives. I actuall...
You are quite right. For my PS4 I have to select press the PS button on my controller to start the console then select my login icon (by default it is normally on mine) then press "X", wait a few seconds to log in, then again using my controller press "left" then "X" or I could use voice commands but I personally think my controller is faster. Very tedious. 😉
BTW. My PS3 does take a little longer. Press the PS button on my controller t...
Well, my $600 USD console still works after 10 years. Not bad for a first release Bluray player and gaming console with hard disk drive, card readers, 4 USB ports, HDMI and optical out. It can even play 3D Bluray movies although I predominately use it for gaming.
Note: I don't miss the "Other OS" feature which was removed with an optional patch since I can run Linux on much more appropriate equipment such as my (also still working) laptop that now has one of t...
You are quite right but paying for two network subscriptions and two different consoles IMHO is rather pointless unless you are sharing with other members of your household and they have different gaming interests. It also gets even more complex if you have three different consoles (Nintendo anyone). Still, it's your money and your time.
Can't speak for XBL since I can't see the point of paying for two gaming network subscriptions and two different gaming consoles although I do play on my PS3 occasionally which is also linked to my PS+ subscription since it only takes a few seconds to toggle between my PC, PS3 and PS4.
I normally find PSN to be very reliable although there are occasions when it is taken down for service but you do get warnings that this is going to happen.
I have ...
If you look at the Youtube video of "Sharing games on the PS4" https://www.youtube.com/wat... this very simple and incredibly short video was hilarious especially when you were aware of Microsofts DRM always on policy and their push to virtually kill off used games.
Of course, to be fair I should show Microsoft's policy shorts as spoken by the faithful: 3466d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment
I don't know maybe Americans have a different sense of humor to the rest of the world but to me that advert was cringe worthy.
Yes, I noticed that at well.
For those who have not played any of the FF13 games "Caius" is the protagonist of FF13-2 not FF13.
I actually found Caius to be quite an interesting protagonist, on one hand, he is not evil although some of the things he does could be considered evil, nor does he want to conquer the world although he would be quite happy to see the world end. In other respects he is suicidal to the point were he does not care if he ...
Normally when Nintendo markets a handheld they target children and young adults although all ages can play it. If you look at the relatively few PS Vita adverts the handheld is targeted at the teen to young adult market and again all ages can play.
When viewing the Switch's marketing I never saw one pre-teen kid in the sales pitch. It is obvious that kids as well as well as any age group can play the machine as well but the marketing appears to be mainly targeting late ...
Well you do have Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft in the console market but in the PC market you have about 87.52% Microsoft Windows, 4.42% Mack OS, 2.31% Linux and 5.74% Other OS's https://www.netmarketshare.... which makes the Microsoft Windows OS the dominate OS and hence has the most games developed for it.
What is interesting with the PC market is t...
Go all digital and then see if you can trade in a game. Sure you "may" get the game cheaper than the physical copy when the game is released but physical games do have a tendency to reduce in price much faster than their digital counterparts.
Make games all digital and unless you have competition in the industry such as Origin, Steam and GOG (formerly Good Old Games) then you will rarely see any games drop in price since the storage space is on disk and the price ...
If a game runs at 30fps then that is the developer's decision and it usually (although not always) requires a patch to change that. Of course, that is if the developer wants to bother patching a game that won't bring in that many extra sales.
