No my eyes my eyes! 😎
I have seen more destruction in games like Red Faction (2001) and Red Faction Guerrilla (2009) and they were single player games which IMHO were so much more fun. As well as that those games also had a story and from what I have seen in the Crackdown demo the story is a bit thin unless you like shooting and blowing (if you can call it that) things up.
At least the Red Faction games had believably destructible environments whilst what I have seen of the single player Crackdo...
It's difficult to say if the demo is from the PS3 or the emulator. Still, the player actually beat the gray demon which shows he had experience with playing the game. Of course, he won't survive the next part.
II would be more impressed if the player showed the start of the castle section (you would only have half your life bar at the start) since if you do connect to the PSN servers you would see player ghosts and marks on the ground left by players.
Well said but please no "I took an arrow in the knee". 😎
Of course, it is happening. Skyrim is an old game (11th November 2011) and was designed to run on older hardware with less technical specs than the Nintendo Switch.
From what I can gather the Switch is getting the version that ran on the PS3 or the XBox360 except it will scale from 720p (handheld mode) to 1080p in the dock.
As most people here know Skyrim is a huge game and you could spend hundreds of hours (especially with the DLC) although depending on...
When the XB1x releases on the 7th November 2017 it will be the most powerful console but until then the PS4pro is the most powerful console to date.
It depends on how the game is designed. In real life, you have to maintain your weapons particularly if you are in the military so why not in a game?
Of course you can always carry weapon maintenance or lack of to the extream, however, I have played the Souls games and while there is a requirement for weapon maintenance it is only a small inconvenience in a game that will kill your character if you lose concentration or get too salty.

@attilayavuzer
I actually liked Two World II but I played the game on the PS3 and there was some glaring problems. Basically, on occasion the frame rate would drop to what I would call "a slide show" and this mainly occurred when riding the horse to the point I just walked everywhere.
With regard to The Witcher 3 IMHO, the best way to play the game is on the hardest difficulty (ie. Death March) and never reduce the difficulty no matter what the ...
Just on curiosity what difficulty did you play on?
IMHO the only way to truly enjoy this game is to play on "Death March" and slap yourself on the wrist if you are tempted to make it easier. That way you really do get to appreciate the game mechanics and put in the effort of getting portions and oils that will give you 50% buffs as well as getting better magic, weapons and armor.
Tere are plenty of creatures that will literally one hit kill you ...
Why does the writer of the article regret not playing The Witcher 3?
The game is still selling (you can get it and the two DLC's fairly cheaply) and if you have not played the game before it is effectively a new game for you.
The writer of articles like this come across as people who have to have the latest "shiny" when it comes out otherwise to them it is an old game and not worth playing. I can understand if they are a gaming critic but th...
I actually was thinking of buying "Tales of Berseria" so I played the demo.
I also have "Tales of Xilla" which IMHO is a good game however it is the only game that I have played that actually gave me RSI which basically stopped me gaming for over two weeks. I can go into the plusses and minus of Tales of Xilla but one thing I found objectionable was the circle around your battle in what is supposed to be a sandbox game. I mean there have been games doin...
I think we should add that he also states the obvious although most of his controversial predictions are usually the opposite of what he predicts.
It depends on what type of games you like. I prefer action/adventure and RPG's and COD or FIFA or NBA 2K don't fit in those genres. If other people like them then fine I don't really care as long as I get the genres I like.
Here is a web page that shows the game genres across the world http://www.bigfishgames.com... (granted it is from 2013 and from VGChartz) but ...
@Mr Pumblechook
Yes, I do know that the XB1x will be releasing on the 7th November 2017 at a price of $500 USD. I will guarantee it will sell but how many with respect to the XB1slim that will be interesting.
If you are in the market for an XB1 as a present and assuming you are not a savvy console or PC gamer which includes most people would you seriously consider an XB1slim with some pack in games for about $200 to $250 USD or would you consider spending...
HEVC and codec H265 are the same.
If you have a video encoder such as say Handbrake you can take an H264 codec and convert it into H265 with a capacity saving up to 70% but you do need a video player (eg. VLC) that can read the format.
The problem you have is H265 is proprietary and if Sony supported it they would have to pay a royalty to the patent owners, hence the reason why it is not adopted by many of the big players like Microsoft and Sony. There is...
Of course, you could spin it this way as well.
Wife: I thought you bought the PS4 for the kids.
Husband: I got a whole pile of kid friendly games for them such as Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5 and 3 as well as Knack which I got very cheaply.
Wife: What is that game you are hiding behind you back?
Husband: Bloodborne. But it was cheap and I need to play it to make sure it is kid friendly although for some reason I keep hearing the words "F...
The VGChartz sales figures for Final Fantasy XV are as follows:
PS4 - 4.71 million
XB1 - 0.89 million
Even taking the XB1 user base at 30 million to the PS4's 60 million it seems that PS4 players prefer FF15 more than the equivalent XB1 players.
Dr Jones is correct. If you setup your PS4 as the primary console you don't need to login to play your digital game. Even if you have a second PS4 and authenticate on line you can play the game even if the network fails unless of course, your game is an on line multiplayer game and if that happens too often contact your service provider.
You can even put your game on an external disk and take it to a friends house however you do need to authenticate by logging in into P...
I am trying to avoid getting Darkest Dungeon not because I think it's too hard or its 2D style but because I will probably get addicted to it and I have too many games on my to do list. 😊
You can get Way Crystals fairly early in the game (DD Dark Arisen) if you go to the teleport near the Labyrinth since they do respawn after a few hours of gameplay.
One of my pet peeves with the game are the quests. Most are escort missions or "go there kill that" and the enemy always respawns at exactly the same place (eg. Harpies, Goblins ... ) but some of the battles with larger monsters are great.
BTW. That day/night cycle really does up the...
