Well, the more XB1s consoles they sell that reduces the number of people who would possibly purchase an XB1x. Sort of like a double edged sword or damned if you do and damned if you don't. 😎
I don't know if I should agree or disagree with you.
I started Dragon Age (both Origins and Inquisition) and for some reason, I found that I actually lost interest in both games even though they did have good story telling and graphics.
I have played the Souls games (prior to that King's Field) and Bloodborne and while those games are tough I was more fascinated with those games and I found that I did not want them to finish.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was made by Capcom a Japanese company and you get to create your own characters.
Why differentiate? If you like a particular RPG no matter if it from a US, European or Asian company then what is the problem?
From the article:
"JRPGs typically throw you into a game with premade characters. Sometimes you can choose between two or three and experience different perspectives of the same story."
and
"In contrast, most JRPGs are quite linear."
Maybe I should not be...
Currently, the percentage of PS4pro's sold to PS4 sales is about 20% so for every five PS4's sold one is a PS4pro.
During the months of November to December 2016 (PS4pro was released in early November 2016) the PS4 sold about eight million worldwide so basically, the PS4 (assuming 20% sales) sold 1.6 million. Since then the PS4 has sold approximately 8 to 9 million worldwide so again the PS4pro would have sold approximately an additional 1.6 million worldwide a tota...
Like it or not the 1080p crowd is far bigger than the 4K crowd and that is not going to change anytime soon.
A person would have to be legally blind if they could not see the difference between 4K/UHD and HD displays but be that as it may those people that have an HDTV are not about to go out and get a UHDTV since there is so little content available for UHD. Sure if a household is more interested in gaming they may consider getting a UHDTV if they have the money but most h...
Well, I called it now it will seem that most people who will want an XB1 will now be opting for this rather than the XB1x which when it releases on the 7th November 2017 will be at the very least $250 USD more than the XB1s plus games. Come the 7th November 2017 I would expect the XB1s plus games to be around $300 USD cheaper.
Basically, the XB1s will be the main competition of the XB1x and I have not even considered the Switch and the PS4. This not to say that the XB1x won...
You should know that 8K TV's and monitors will be hitting the market in the lead up to the Christmas season and although they are expensive early adopters will be purchasing them over a low-resolution 4K machine. 😎
BTW. Do a quick search using the following "8K TV" if you don't believe me.
Unless the XB1x has a very fast hard disk drive which I doubt you probably won't notice all that much in the loading of games over a standard XB1s. Sure you can improve the performance of your HDD if you replace it with an SSD but Microsoft won't cover any warranty claims if you replace the internal drive. Of course, you could use an external SSD.
BTW. Downloading of games have more to do with your overall network performance between the site you are downloading fr...
Grand Theft Auto V is bringing out a "Battle Royal" addition and if that comes out before PUBG is released on the PS4 then the game may be competing against it and the likes of Destiny 2 (6th September 2017), Battlefront 2 (17th November 2017) not to mention COD WW2 (3rd November 2017), as well as Overwatch (last year).
Actually, the percentage PS4pro to PS4 ratio was 20% (ie 1 in 5) so taking the 8 million PS4's sold over last years holiday season then the PS4pro sold about 1.6 million which is still a good sell for a mid generation console.
Edit. That will teach me to read a thread before commenting. "Outside_ofthe_Box" beat me to the comment. 😉
I know it is very difficult to comprehend but new IP would be much more beneficial than a reboot of an old franchise.
I did have an original FAT PS3 fail (Bluray disk ) under warranty and Sony paid for shipping and repair. Of course, you do need a receipt for the machine otherwise how are you going to prove you own it. Also if your PS3 or any item for that matter (ie. car, laptop, ... etc) is out of warranty then you either pay to get it repaired, get a new one or just don't bother.
BTW. My repaired PS3 is still working.
You forgot to mention that the PS4pro has an additional 1GB of DDR3 memory that is predominately going to be used for the operating system. Granted that leaves the XB1x with 3GB of memory more than the PS4pro. However, there are not that many games that would even come close to making use of 5GB of memory so 12GB is just overkill.
You also have t remember that 8K displays are being made now and are available to the public. https://www.cnet.com/au/pro... Admittedly they are expensive but give it two to three years and the main discussion amongst gamers as far as resolution goes will be 8K and not 4K as it is today.
The game is available for the PS4 as well.
The problem (at least for me) is the so called retro "pixel art" which (I think) is to appeal to nostalgia. Yes, I know gameplay is more important than graphics but graphics do play a part in the overall experience.
Personally, I would rather see games brought out with smooth graphics (it is 2017 after all) although I don't have any objection if the developer provides an option for a retro look and ...
I have to agree that the September list has basically something for everyone like Fighting, Shooters, RPG's, Sports, Racing and the tried but true Action/Adventure. Now I just need to reduce my backlog of over 40 PS+ games of which I am only really interested in about 10 and that is not including my 16 purchased games. Now with "inFAMOUS Second Son" releasing this month for PS+ my backlog just got longer.
Hob looks interesting especially after watching the ga...
In many respects, it was Nintendo's NES that kickstarted the gaming industry which was in danger of failing.
There is nothing wrong with having fond memories of older gaming systems and their games but I would never say they were the best out of all the generations. In fact, the best game is the one you are currently playing and having blast playing it.
It's not so much the map size it's what you can do on the map that is the most important. You also have to consider (eg. Skyrim and The Witcher 3) that some underground environments can also be quite large and only take up one place marker on the map.
Again using The Witcher 3 as an example you also have underwater environments. In fact, you can pretty much swim and dive anywhere and it is possible to find hidden treasure.
