That depends on the Japanese game studio. There are many games developed in Japan that make it out to the world, of course there are some that don't.

If you only like non-Japanese games then it won't affect you one bit but there are 100's of millions of people around the world who do play games that were originally developed in Japan then translated and dubbed for world release.

Rubbish it is only on-line or on-line verification games that have issues with DDoS. If you have a stand alone game you won't be impacted.

I think you have to find the culprits first before you can make a call like that.

This is one of the reasons why I don't have a PS4 at the moment but next year things will be different.

Basically I was a PS2 and PS3 early adopter because of backwards compatibility but I still have so many games I am still playing on my PS3 that I can wait till mid next year.

If they had software that would allow me to play PS2 games on the PS4 (PS1 not so much since they can be played on any PS3) I would purchase one immediately. Of course I still won&...

Unfortunately the only way to play FFXII is if you have the DVD (not including pirates here) is either have a PS2 or a Backwards Compatible PS3 of course a remaster to say the PS3/4 is a good way of making money from people who don't have the original games.

Having an emulator for the PS4 would be helpful (I would purchase a PS4 immediately) but then again why create and sell an emulator (one purchase) so that you could play all your old PS2 games when you can make more m...

If Bloodbourne is anything like the Soul's series then it is what is called an Action/Adventure RPG. You could even apply this to FFXV and "The Witcher" since they are also Action/Adventure in that you don't switch zones to fight unlike the other FF games (FFXII had this as well).

The problem you have here is what classifies an RPG. Normally RPG's are associated with statistics associated with your character(s) and their attributes like magic. weapons an...

Depends if you like PC gaming or console gaming. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

To me a 7 to 12 hour linear or otherwise game-play is not something that is overly attractive. I prefer games that are at the very least 20 hours plus and the more pluses the better.

That said I do like a story and a short story is IMHO much better than little if any story such as what you get with many although not all FPS's, sports and racing games. For people who like and enjoy these games then great for you.

So far the Order looks interesting however ...

I do think this is a stupid question as well but it really boils down to what games you like. IMHO if you have both a PS3 and PS4 or are even contemplating getting a PS4 in the next few months and a game that you would like to play comes out for both consoles then I would definitely recommend the PS4 game even if it means a wait until you eventually buy the PS4 (assuming 2 to 4 months away) and by then the game will be cheaper.

Still it all boils down to choice since no one i...

These games are one of the main reasons I don't have a PS4 yet since I don't find them compelling enough. This is not to say I think these games are bad, in fact I do think they are quite good games, however I really do prefer Action/Adventure and RPGS's and I have quite a few games on my PS3 that I still want to finish. So I don't mind the wait.

Come next year when the RPG's really start to come out then I will definitely get a PS4.

Personally I have never much liked playing games on-line although I do play games that have an on-line component such as the "Souls" games so having a PS+ account is rather pointless for me.

This is not to say I think getting a PS+ account is pointless on the contrary I think it is excellent value for money especially considering the number of free games you can get.

In my case I prefer having the media since the games I like (Action/Adventure and R...

Personally like Action/Adventure and RPG's (action and turn-base) and some of those RPG's I take can take me well over 50 hours with games like Skyrim taking 100's of hours with so much replay value. I even went back to play Oblivion (correctly this time) and I wish I hadn't since it can really suck you in.

If I had a PS+ account I would find this wasteful since I would not be able to find the time to play these additional games. This is not to say that I thin...

When was PS+ free?

If you had a PS3 you could download trial games and even unlockable (normally Indies) games for free.

If you have a PS4 and want to play on-line games then you need a PS+ account. You did not need a PS+ account to play PS3 games on-line unless that game required you to pay a subscription fee.

Simple solution:

If Sony does not refund your money then your bank should be the one to do this. If Sony does refund you should still contact your bank and make sure your card is cancelled and a new one issued.

No matter what you must contact your financial institution giving as much information as you can and if directed, the police.

My wife had her credit card hacked for iTunes and we followed the above steps and we got our money back. Of c...

Sure I can get unlimited download with ADSL but my download speed would be less than 1MB/sec (300kB/sec is average). My current cable plan gives me up to 4MB/sec (1.5MB/sec is average) and my cap is 120GB/month. This is quite normal where I live and like it or not this will probably be the case world wide unless you are willing to shell out quite a bit of money per month.

Before you say "fibre" cable, yes that is being rolled out but it is not available in my area a...

No don't buy the game to start with. This I why I never pre-order games and prefer to wait one or two weeks for the reviews to come out.

For some with slow internet access and possibly capped download limits even 6.9GB is huge for just a game.

My internet speed can be anything up to 2MB/sec so downloading 6.9GB would take me approximately 1 hour. 40GB oh the other hand would take, if I am lucky 4 hours and eat into a third of my cap and all this for just one game. For those on dial-up I truly sympathise.

I actually agree with you since my original FFVII was stolen otherwise I could play it on my PS3 since all PS3's can play PS1 games. Personally I would only recommend playing a PS1 game on a small screen HDTV since most are very grainy when displayed on a large (above 32") HDTV

If you have a PS4 and don't have a PS3 and have never played FFXIII/2/3 then sure but if you think that the FFXIII series is going to be graphically superior on the PS4 think again since the games are 1080p on the PS3/Xbox360 so you probably won't notice much if any difference.

IMHO a remaster of the PS2 FFX/X-2 which is happening and FFXII for the PS4 is more appropriate than a FFXIII/2/3 remaster but that is up to Square/Enix to make that call.

Of ...
